Great location for Us, nice clean & tidy, well presented room. 1 minute walk to the beach
Only one negative which I thought was a bit of a let down is the maid slamming doors from 7:30am onwards till we had to check out at 11am !! Was not happy

I was a bit sceptical about the rooms being above a pub but the staff were lovely and even struggled to carry my case upstairs for me. Unlike other places I've stayed there was ample tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the room , the shower was great and clean and the bed comfortable. Just a stones throw from the beach I would happily come back again.
The driving abilities of some locals leaves something to be desired so make sure you park well out of the way if you arrive by car.

Excellent location, second time staying here. The rooms are above a pub but you would never know as its so quiet! We rang on the off chance to see if our room was ready earlier than expected and it was so we checked in with no issues. Staff were great and really friendly, will definitely stay again.

The property was excellent. Rooms were above a pub, which was absolutely fine. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. We had problems with our booked accommodation elsewhere and this was an emergency booking, and what a find it was, it was so good I wish I had have booked this place first

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building. The room was spotless and very thoughtfully furnished. There was a large and comfortable dressing table with a mirror, a comfy chair, and a hairdryer always ready to use. The room also included a kettle, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, mugs, and glasses for juice. There was even a separate table for preparing drinks.
A comfortable sofa and a very luxurious large bed with fresh-smelling bedding made the stay especially relaxing. The bathroom was perfectly clean with a modern shower. Blinds and curtains provided great privacy.
Downstairs there is a pub with live music at weekends. It did not disturb the peace and quiet at all, as everything finished at a very reasonable hour. The nights were calm and peaceful.
The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The location is wonderful — close to the town centre, just a few steps from South Beach, and only a few minutes’ walk from Tesco. I felt very safe during my stay. Highly recommended.
