The staff handled our check in very professionally in spite of the prevailing internet challenges. The staff were generally friendly, and the room was satisfactory.
The airport transfer was exorbitant - $60 for such a short distance.

Pleasant
The kiddie paddling pool was awesome, the front office staff were helpful, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also great with variety to choose from, and child friendly.

I travelled from the UK, and am a seasoned traveller. I found this hotel to be good for a hotel in East Africa. It is safe, and clean, and the rooms are big and comfortable (bed was huge), also didn't see any insects or mosquitos in my room. Security guards outside, and in an area with lots of Govt Ministries and a big UN base, so plenty of security in the area. The staff were very helpful in general and even gave us a free transfer back to the airport. I feel that some of the bad reviews are from those less familiar with real African hotels. A 4-star in Entebbe is not going to be the same as a 4-star in New York, but perfectly comfortable for a few days.
Fitness room is a bit dated, and the pool wasn't clean but I wasn't planning on swimming - so just be aware if you are planning on using either of these. Coffee wasn't great, but there is a good cafe across the road.

Room full of mosquitos. Air condition warm never cold. Had to request a fridge noted only 50 available in hotel. Reported shower problem everyday until it was fixed on the last night. Only had part breakfast on 1st morning after which bought the same outside. The hotel is sad and run down not as advertised on booking.com. Even on check out payment problem causing card to be blocked by the bank which had been used for reservation having to use other. This hotel is not for International travellers

Nothing - Zero- avoid the horrible staff at this third rate overpriced place. Imperial - oh really! No lifts, given rooms along way from the the stairs. Two old ladies had to hobble the long way to their distant rooms.
NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. What appalling service. Disgraceful. On arrival they said that we had not paid for the extra guest - despite having booked two rooms for 3 guests. In the morning the two old ladies went for breakfast at 0730 - 0800 . The cleaning staff removed all bed sheets on their return at 0830 despite checkout at 1200. On complaining at the front desk the manager did nothing to assist.
