Wonderful
Almost everything. The owner is super friendly, the charm of the place, perfect location, the visiting monkeys, super good breakfast. The comfortable chairs outside.
Price for what you get, barking dogs in nearby properties all night long, if that's a problem.

The owner and his family were very welcoming and sweet. This hotel is family owned and very close to the main area of Entebbe. Henry was very sweet and created a stress free environment. We came and went as pleased and he made sure wifi was working and packed us a breakfast to go with our early morning flight to following day. Highly recommend this place, very clean, very comfortable, and very good for the price.
Everything was great! Nothing to dislike about this place.

Great location, nice terrace with a view of the botanical garden. Staff was very nice and flexible!
When in the room, you could hear the noise from other rooms or the kitchen pretty well. That could have been better

Wonderful
The family is very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to have friends coming over for an evening.
The room was basic and absolutely sufficient for my stay.
The location is perfect for relaxation. The botanical garden is just next to the facility. There is a nice restaurant next door recommended by the owner. Victoria Mall is also walking distance for any purchases you need to do.
I would always chose to stay there again for a short stay.

Great location next to the botanical garden, if you’re looking to be in nature, but remote and meeting friendly hosts. Henry and his team are great hosts and did everything to accommodate us very well

Fair
The environment and views around property. The host was good plus the view sitting out is nice and comfortable.
The property needs good maintenance especially the washroom and on the beds as mattresses are old and pressed down when hevy weight person sleeps. Fans also need to be in good condition. Ventilation inside room is not good.

We arrived into Entebbe to start a long East Africa self-drive birding trip. We had such a great stay! The property is adjacent to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens which allows for fantastic birding. We stayed 3 nights as we were traveling from the United States and wanted some time to shake the jet lag. The breakfasts were excellent, fresh fruit and omelet scrambles, hot coffee and tea. Henry and Precious were even nice enough to let us check in very early as our flight arrived at 3:30 am. They even cooked us a light breakfast on our early check-in day! Not only that, but I left my binoculars behind and Henry shipped them to Nairobi for me! If you are flying into Entebbe, or if you are planning on visiting the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, you cannot beat this spot. Thank you so much Henry and Precious!

Me and my husband stayed in Egg Botanical hotel only for one night, but it’s way more beyond our expectations, we love the hotel surrounding with gardens, monkeys, plenty of plants, it was a great experience to have yummy breakfast with chill music, the breakfast was definitely delicious, and the owner and his employees are really care and friendly, our flight is on the evening of second day , so he allowed us to stay half day more before check out , it’s really nice of them to take care of our time, we really appreciate it! Definitely highly recommend this hotel!
Maybe can have better wifi in the room?

This is a spacious colonial era house overlooking the botanical gardens - it felt like being in the gardens. Very quiet and peaceful yet close to restaurants and shops. It's a guest house rather than a hotel with a charming affable host and lovely staff who catered to our every need. Great breakfast too. Such a relaxing place to stay at the end of a long East African tour.

Located very conveniently (it is less than 5 minute walk from the Victoria Mall, about 10 minutes from/to the airport, and right in front of the Botanical Garden entrance). Beautiful garden. Good breakfast. Flexibility with your plans. Mosquito nets in the rooms. Hot water.
No-frills, but still a good option if you don’t need luxury.

My goal was to be close to the botanical garden because I wanted to visit. Well, there is the beautiful view and you can’t get any closer to the entrance! So that was great. And the sunrise is very pretty during breakfast. Owner and staff are very friendly.
The room is basic. Hot water depends on the solar system - I did not have hot water.

Henry is a wonderful host, full of friendly courtesy and a genuine desire to help. The place has a decayed grandure that is amazing, and the music Henry has on the radio adds to the atmosphere. The gardens are lovely, the location next to the botanic gardens perfect.
The plumbing wasn't exactly reliable (cut off mid shower) and the WiFi was intermittent.
