Wonderful
I stayed here not for work, but simply because I wanted to experience this iconic modernist hotel from the inside. Everything was just as I expected, or even slightly better. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with two balconies and an amazing view. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent – right next to the Lavra, close to the metro, and surrounded by plenty of great places to eat and explore.
There was nothing that really bothered me. I was aware of the hotel’s history and character, so I didn’t expect modern renovations like in an international chain. That is not the point of this place anyway. The only minor thing is that there was no restaurant, but it wasn’t an issue as there are many great places nearby.

The room was on the 6th floor. it was a large spacious room with two balconies giving spectacular views across the city. The hotel was very quiet. There is full-time security, with reception and foreign exchange office during the day and lots of restaurants and cafe's in the vicinity - and a lovely tea-room. There is a pleasant park just across from the hotel and groceries, clothes store, pharmacy less than 100m from the hotel.
The hotel was almost too quiet! That's all. It was very good value for the room and location.

I had a lovely experience, thank you, Salute! I’ve always wanted to see the building from the inside. Everything about this place is so charming and old-fashioned in a positive way. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony, and a view that was worth everything. There were enough facilities. The location is fantastic and convenient, close to Shalom and Kyiv Food Market. The receptionist and security staff were both polite and welcoming.
There were a couple of woodworms in the bathroom. And the mold on the bath’s cellar.

The view is amazing, location is convenient - 6-9 mins from Arsenalna subway station. The room was clean and cozy.
It looked a bit cold in a hotel. The room was fine. Considering the fact that Ukraine is being bombed by Russia every day - the hotel does everything he can.

Personally it was a dream come true to stay at the hotel. Due to its out-of-this-world architecture. For obvious reasons it wasn't busy at the time of my stay (five nights in May 2024). Was offered a room on the top floor with an absolutely gorgeous view of fx the Dnipro River. The daytime receptionist spoke really good English whereas the security guys who were on duty during the evening- and nighttime didn't. It worked fine anyway. The restaurant on the second floor was closed during my stay (permanently I wouldn't know). Therefore a café right next to the hotel served the breakfast. Which was ok. Small portion but ok. With only 10-15 mins walk to the Arsenalna Metro station, the location is top! Would love to come back!

The staff was as courteous as possible, and they were always willing to help! We would like to say a special thank you to the receptionist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) who was very helpful and understanding!
The view from the room was incredible, so beautiful! We were not expecting such a view, it was the most pleasant surprise.
The area itself is convenient, its a city center, so you have everything around you in the area! Restaurants, parks, subway, grocery store and pharmacy - everything is within 10 minutes of walk. If you walk for another 15-20 minutes, there is the Holodomor Museum and Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
Our room neighbors were a bit loud with their music, but that finished quickly, and we had a peaceful night. I don't think hotel has really something to do with it tho.
