Number 21 is a small hotel in Kyiv that is very close to a subway station and the funicular to go up to the top of the hill where St. Michael's Cathedral and the Ukrainian Department of Foreign Affairs office is located. Because of its geographic location backed up to a large hill and low stature, it is a uniquely safe location to stay during the current war. We had a lovely 2 storey apartment inside the hotel. I wish the downstairs had a designated shelter area, but the subway is close and the building is backed up to the mountain so this is a small issue.

Exceptional
Everything continued excellent as in every year, with very good staff and cleaning. Even their most modest rooms are good. They shut down the good but little used restaurant, but there 50 places within a mile, including coffee in a quit bookstore a few years away.

Anton was a friendy staff who helped with arranging parking just a few hours before our arrival. Anton also contacted me afterwards to let me know I fogot something and where they should ship it to. I said it was meant to be left behind but thanks for reaching out. Fridge in the room and very big room + stairs up to the bedroom
No bar in the hotel. The parking facilities could be better.

The greatest location, a lot of restaurants, cafés, craft pubs nearby. Close to the city center and metro station. Staff was friendly and helpful. They organized a few little surprises for me in the beginning and at the end of my stay. The room was comfortable enough, and it was cleaned every day.

I really like this hotel, it is clean, comfortable and in a good location. The hotel staff are very friendly and check in/out is smooth. The rooms are very nice, some are renovated some are not, but they are still clean, and comfortable and a nice experience. The breakfasts are nice but have a limited selection of options.
More options for breakfast would be nice.
