Spacious room with big bed, private bathroom (hairdryer included), balcony, microwave. Good quiet place near the city center, big city garden, subway. The power supply was stable (if you know, you know). Clean, nice looking. The price is good, especially with Genius discount
The bedsheet was small, which caused its moving all over the place and not staying where it was supposed to be. Very annoying. Very creaky floor. Poor sound proofing. Creaking of the floor in the next room was heard as if you were there. Maybe consider using earplugs.

Wonderful
The ambience above a working fire house made it special. The room was spacious, clean and furnished with just enough items to make my friend's stay comfortable. Both of us will be recommending Fire Inn to our team mates who stay over in Kyiv. The proximity to the train station makes it convenient for early morning departures because a taxi can get you to the station in a few minutes.
My friend had only good things to say about Fire Inn, actually. She wrote to me while there and then we chatted about it on her return to Kharkiv.

Clean, good location, excellent staff, good value for central Kyiv.
Would have given a 10, like previous stays, but this time our room was inferior. Bathroom door was partially blocked by the sofa bed, balcony door didn't work properly. May have been the only room left available.

Disappointing
On the positive side, the location is excellent—right in the center, which is very convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, with two rooms: a separate bedroom and a living area with a kitchen and sofa
Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment was really disappointing. Everything felt outdated and poorly maintained. The floor creaked with every step, the furniture was worn out, and the bathroom just felt uncomfortable—not because it wasn’t cleaned, but because everything in it was so old. The shower area, especially, was just not pleasant to use. What bothered me the most was the smell of cigarette smoke. Even though smoking isn’t allowed, the smell was constantly there. At first, I thought it was left over from someone who stayed there before me, but later I realized it was actually coming through the vents—probably from other rooms. I had to open all the windows just to try and breathe normally, but the smell still lingered. On top of that, there was this strong musty smell from the old furniture that added to the discomfort. The bedding didn’t help either. The blanket cover had a weird greenish color that made me wonder if it was just old or actually unclean. Either way, it didn’t feel fresh, and it made the whole place seem not properly taken care of—even though I don’t think it’s the cleaners’ fault, but more about how outdated everything is.

The staff was very nice; Very good location; Clean room, price is very fair. I would come again.
The bed was okay but not great; thin walls - can hear anyone who’s walking outside the room; lacking a few kitchen items - like a knife for cutting.
