I loved the staff! What makes Hotel Dnipro-- and all of Ukraine so great-- are her people. Hotel Dnipro is no exception. The staff was constantly attentive to our whole group's needs and provided us with excellent care and assistance at every turn. Couldn't recommend more highly. Also the hotel is in a seriously fantastic location. Just steps from the Maidan, it is truly an excellent place to call home while you're in Kyiv.

Excellent location directly near the Maidain. Great for our group for meetings in the Panorama Room in the mornings. Rooms were petite but not absurdly small. The location cannot be beat at this price. Excellent shelter is available if you wish to have one. Staff was reasonably friendly. Breakfast was decent. Overall a great price and good option for the location, with a shelter.
Slightly dated, but overall, the charm made up for it. I would stay here again-- in fact stayed twice during my Ukrainian journey. I found the place to be overall delightful.

Beds were a little hard and the room is a typical hotel room in Ukraine, nothing special. But the staff were very friendly and the food in the rooftop restaurant, paired with the view, was great.

The view from the restaurant is the only saving grace. And location. Everything else is a HARD pass.
They must have renovated our floor from a wooden barn room floor. Creaky wood and uncomfortable angles on the floor. A suite that was 3 times the cost of a normal room, that looked like they turned a supply closet into a bedroom. Despite asking multiple times (I was sick with a kidney infection), and I asked front desk, cleaners, etc, for more water or even the 2 bottles of water they promised were included in the daily rent - we received none. When asked for double the second day, they stated they could not provide more than 2. Then did not. Cleaning room was adjacent to the suite, like through a door that looked like a murder room, attached to the living room. Layout was.. disappointing. No view, 4th floor (listed as amazing room and great facility with great view.. meh, laughable.) Service was horrid. Breakfast was 1/2 gone (like 1/2 of steamer trays empty, regardless of time I came. They had probably enough for a few mice at the start of breakfast, but did not refill, did not assist, despite 2 staff at bar and 2 staff in back) and disappointing, and thats saying something because I like Ukranian breakfast. Juices non-existent, plenty of pitchers for them, just no re-filling. Juice itself was a pre-mix cocktail of sugar and terribleness. Reminded me of American Hotel 6 - foods inedible, coffee is diesel, and the juice is basically just a shot of sugar to the face instead of Uzvar, or any of the fresh juices Ukraine prides themselves on.
