This is a small family-run hotel, and the family running it lives there themselves during the war. The hotel is located on the ground floor, partly below the street level. That makes it safer during missile attacks. They are the nicest people I've ever met, and you'll feel as you're part of their family. They also run a coffee kiosk where you pay if you're able, otherwise all drinks are free. So expect just that: A family run hotel with all the quirks that comes with that. You will be lovingly taken care of, but don't expect five-star facilities. Also the rates are very modest.
The constant power-outs, but they are a result of the fact there is a full-blown war going on. Also expect the occasional missile attack aimed at civilian housing and power stations, and be ready to seek shelter. None of this is the fault of the hotel.

We were looking for a room for 3 adults, and this hotel offered the best price and location (7 minute walk from the railway station). Upon arrival we were surprised by a nice design (both inside and outside). The beds were really comfortable, the room was clean, the stuff was friendly. Perfect choice!
