Near Gargarina bus station walking distance. Alina was very kind and helpful in the reception and speaks a bit English language, the other one was helpful as well although she didn't know how to speak English language. Modern stylish layout hotel, and clean. Decent choice for breakfast.
Good water pressure. WiFi excellent.
Close to Kharkiv Pas aswell.
They have a bomb shelter too.
The shower floor is at same level with the bathroom floor, I took a shower and didn't noticed I flooded half of the bathroom and the outside corridor, Water drainage in the shower got stocked, they came to clean and she didn't know how to talk in English language.
They cleaned the flood and were very helpful ?
They could offer more choice in the breakfast.
Not everyone speaks English language.

while some things may not function or work, it doesn't overshadow the warmth you are greeted with and the overall comfort of the stay - on the contrary, it shows the high standards this hotel was aiming for, while temporarily experiencing some struggles caused by the ongoing war, and daily missile attacks on the city

Hotel is in a nice location - couple of walking minutes from shopping mall, smaller shops like bakeries, pharmacy, and subway station. Room was rather spacious, with several coffee like tables to put a laptop on or something to eat. Bath tub is roomy enough for two people.
Elevator was out of service, and ac remote was nowhere to be found.

I have been to the Ukraine 169 times in the last 20 years and stayed at 5 star hotels like the Kharkiv Palace. And Costing a lot more than the viva hotel. Which offers exceptional value for money .The staff at this delightful hotel were exceptional receptionist Julia so helpful with booking taxis and directions the hotel has everything you need the Breakfast is Great the WIFI on the rooms is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel the location very good not in the centre but when taxis are only 2 pounds to centre no problem I highly recommend the VIVA HOTEL KHARKIV XAVIER RICHARDS

Breakfast is very good, great location, good restaurant - Cafe Beerlin - within walking distance. Nice desk staff (last time I stayed desk person was rather arrogant).
FIX YOUR ELEVATOR! It was down 6 months ago when I visited! I have bad knees and difficult to carry luggage up. Only reason I rated “facilities” terrible.
