Exceptional
The Urartu Hotel property was extremely luxurious and comfortable. The hostess was extremely kind and funny, she checked us in and gave clear instructions to the room. The stairs were beautiful marble next to stained glass windows, making for a truly breathtaking, photograph worthy sight as you go upstairs to your room. The room I rented was enormous, much larger than I initially expected, and was filled with couches, tables, and even a balcony. I hope to stay here again when I return to Kharkiv.
It's a little far from Kharkiv city center, but the bus is available on the same road as the hotel, and Bolts/Uklons/Ubers and other taxis are always easy and *very cheap* to find as well, so the distance wasn't really a problem for us. If you choose a taxi, select the option to pay driver in cash if possible- they're more likely to cancel the ride if you pay by card. 15 minutes driving, and you're in the city center by Freedom Square. It was not an issue at all, just something to be aware of
