Great location Very friendly staff
Very very basic, even for a hostel. Very loud. Staff are easy to hear sitting outside your room early in the morning and late at night.

Location, the dormitory had big beds and it had walls in-between each one.
Common areas were not the best, noisy at night, the door to outside was just wood and with lots of gaps so it didn't insulate sounds well.

My experience was good, but not representative; the hostel was overbooked, and so the staff upgraded me to a nearby hotel (single room!)
Check-in was a tedious procedure of waiting for staff; the guy on-site was too busy playing on his phone to proactively attend to guests The common area of the hostel is a sterile, not very welcoming room - I would not want to chill there.

First time staying in a hostel. Id say its pretty decent, the price is fair, the location is right in the middle where you could walk for 3 mins to get to the beach and walking distance to other attractions in stone town. The bed is spacious and has outlet and lights. Has locker and female-only room.

A very good option for 1 or 2 nights in stone town. The location is great, very close to everything and the showers have a lot of pressure and hot water. The beds are basic but comfy. I was alone in the female dorm so I had a really quiet night.
Not a lot of social space. This is just a place to sleep.

Comfortable place, the beds are very big. The staff is super kind and helpful, and the location is perfect just in town! I was traveling while working, and the wifi / connection here allowed me to work and have my meetings no problem. There are good cafs around like Caf Turquoise, Karafuu Coffee House or Cape Town Fish Market.
