Very Good
Very friendly and attentive staff.
There was a bit of street noise on the entrance side. Staff confirmed that one can request a quieter room on the ocean side.

Wonderful
My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. The location is a traveler's dream, with all the major attractions just a stone's throw away. Place is beautifully decorated with history of zanzibar stone town . Bed was super comfortable after a long tiring flight The staff deserves special praise for their exceptional service - they were not only helpful but also accommodated an early check-in, making my trip even more convenient. This hotel truly knows how to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Highly recommended!
All utilities are near by
Location can be complicated if arriving on your own as stone town has narrow lanes and first timer can have difficulty finding it

The staff is amazing. They are very helpful, cheerful, polite and kind. The rooftop for the breakfast was nice and the bed was comfortable. Very spacious bathroom .. and the location wise you are right in the center of stonetown.
We were on the ground floor so a lot of noise coming from the reception and the street, i could only sleep with my earplugs on. First day we had a dead cockroach on our bathroom floor.. Breakfast was average, fruits seemed like frozen before and the pastry seemed packaged, not freshly baked. Our room was very dark as we couldnt open all the blinds as the room was looking to the street. For a 4* hotel, it didn't have any facilities .. so it is like a bed and breakfast, but too expensive for that ...

The property is a beautiful historical house, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The room was large, clean, comfortable and was oozing the Zanzibari history and spirit. The bathroom was equipped with amenities including a wonderfully scented bath salt... everything was just relaxing, comfortable and "pole pole". The staff was extremely helpful, polite and efficient. I had my laundry done and couple of local errands arranged - all arrived spot on and on time. The location is central and easy to access, yet away from the noisy part. Staying in Kisiwa house was a joyful experience and I can highly recommend.

The location and the design of the place.
The area is quite busy and noisy. Especially in the night which can be bothering.

Location is ok, and staff is friendly. Parking.
I believe this is overpriced. Average restaurant at extreme prices and they don't serve wine (or any alcohol).

We was acccompanied by a couple which did not take a room because flight was evening time. So when we arrived we asked if they could take a short shower in our room only - but first they denied. After half hour discussion they accepted finally. Not that hospitality to be expected in such a nice hotel.
