Poor
We booked 2 Double Bed rooms at Stonetown View Hotel but on arrival we were told that no room is available. So we were asked to move to another hotel names The Island Stonetown Hotel and offered complementary breakfast. The hotel was stinky, fridges not working, AC dripping water, Bulbs not wrking, No Towel or Toiletry. After changing 3 rooms, we had to fit in one double bed and one single bed room. Wifi was not working at nights. We were given breakfast timings from 6-10am, but there was no staff in kitchen even at 7am and we had to leave without breakfast both days..

For the tightest of budgets it was an excellent choice, simple lodging at the heart of the Zanzibar city. Surrounded by cheap local restaurants and close to the port it was very convenient for access to the stone town and port to Dar es Salaam Ferries.
Well, it was too simple... Guest-house like logging and since it was on the road to the horbour and ferries it was too noisy from the hawkers selling tickets. The place needs a lot of fixing up from flickering lights to missing shower knobs and no towels. No parking space and breakfast is just eggs, toast and a couple of fruit slices. Definitely not suitable for a family stay.

Nothing
I had booked a room through Booking.com. But upon arriving at the hotel, I found that they had already rented out all the rooms privately, and there was no room left for me.
They told me they would arrange a room at another hotel and kept me waiting for two hours, but ultimately, they couldn’t provide any solution.
Finally, I was forced to move to another hotel.

Tidiness, no bugs. The AC worked. Showers in some rooms worked better than others.
The property didn't accept credit card, even though it advertised that it did. The AC unit in room 201 worked well, but it dripped and created a big puddle on the floor. Breakfast was cheap but uninspiring, only instant coffee and we saw rats in the kitchen at night.

I didn't expect much from the accommodation based on the previous reviews. The air conditioning worked, the breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, despite what was agreed, we did not receive breakfast on two days due to our previously agreed-upon programs. Although they promised to pack it, this unfortunately did not happen.
The room did not have a window, which we were not informed about. At 5 am, the call to prayer is heard from the speaker next to the room, which can be disturbing.
