Good
The staff was lovely and were very attentive, especially the general manager who took care of all my needs and went above and beyond. He helped facility a late check out for me at no cost and made sure I was super comfortable throughout my stay. I enjoyed my stay mostly because of them.
There was not much privacy in the rooms as all the windows were open with only a mosquito next covering and a thin curtain on the other side. When it was windy one could easily peer inside. The windows in the bathroom had no privacy as well, one could easily look through them. Wifi was a little patchy at times but the issue was resolved quickly.

The room with view of the beach was very nice
Powder coffee and teabag tea at breakfast, a bread toaster that did not function, limited choice on dinner menu non-availability of white wine! All forgivable but not at the prevailing price level

Very Poor
The worse stay in the whole island, we did not feel safe, I have been to Zanzibar twice and I swear it is the worse nightmare and worse people over there, no facilities no internet no ac's and food quality is beyond poor, no room is ocean view as they claim its really far from beach that you cant see anything, no place to chill as the workers are sleeping at the reception all day all night with lights off every where, spiders at the bathroom and blood stains on bed sheets add to that that after our payment was disclosed through booking their crazy stupid manager called us the police as he wanted us to pay one more time at the property before our check out they made us pay for free water they raised the rate on us, they did everything a person doesnt want on his vacation, stay away from this sick place please and it is not in paje as they claim it is in a place called jambiani, Id suggest you check your stay physically before paying for anything as zanzibar has many beautiful hotels that you can check in easily at anytime

big rooms direcly on the beach that once were luxurious.
overpriced due to what you get. a hotel that want to be as luxus as it once was. what once were luxus bungalows now are a bit worn and torn.
the restaurant is unfortunently horrible in every sense Where it is obvious that someone tried to cut budget in supplys

Lovely staff, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. We arrived late in the evening and the manager especially waited for us and prepared dinner for us, he also treated us to dinner the next day, we felt like royalty. The place is so relaxing and close to everything you need.

Very Good
Very friendly staff, well maintained common areas, VERY calm, yet in walking distance to Paje and all it's amenities.
The beach in front of the property is a spot where a lot of algae collects. No smell, just lots of algae in the water and on the beach.
