Wonderful
I really enjoyed this property due to the kind and welcoming staff, the privacy and comfortability of the rooms, and the location being on a quiet road but still close to the hustle and bustle of stone town.

I was looking for basic criteria: functioning a/c, comfortable beds, clean and good rate. I wasnt looking for any high end luxuries. Just a comfortable and secure place to sleep at value for money. These criteria were met.
The breakfast is not very good quality and disorganised. For example, missing cutlery, no tea cups or spoons. No milk, only powder substitute. But stone town is so small so breakfast can be easily sought elsewhere.

The location is perfect, the Lodge is a few minutes away from the city center. The staff is amazing, they were helpful and smiled all the time.
Regrettably, the breakfast is a weak point and the bathroom could use some work.

Balcony is shared, which is fine, but is listed as if it is private for the room.

We stayed one night before leaving Zanzibar. The location was perfect to explore Old Town. Distance of short walk from shops and restaurants. We asked for early breakfast and lovely staff served it for us before our departure. Really recommend this place if you are looking for something affordable with walkable access to Old Town.
