I liked the spacious tropical shady grounds the outdoor patio, delicious breakfast and I also like that they have a hospitality school for girls to learn about the hotel business and they were very sweet

Very Good
Great hotel. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good value.
The laundry did take a bit of time to get back. (Sent Friday morning, received Sunday morning). This may be due to the using line drying and recent rain. The hotel is also a bit of a walk from tourist shops, probably about 30 minutes.

Th B&B is in such a lovely, green, quiet environment, yet still convenient and close to Moshi town centre. The breakfast is delicious.

More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two.
Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours.
The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning.
The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio.
My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.

Large room in the main building with private bathroom. Very good restaurant with a vegetarian only menu. I’m not a vegetarian but enjoyed each and every dish I ordered. Did not miss the meat at all. Those Chinese buns - amazing! Be sure the support their good cause program with a donation.
It does not have AC.

More Than A Drop is a simple but comfortable stay. I booked my pre and post Mt Kilimanjaro climb with them and the staff, especially Millie, took incredible care of me. They are compassionate and caring, and the venue serves a great cause by being a platform for young women to gain an education in hospitality. Their breakfast was filling, and facilities are kept nice and clean. They also served lunch & dinner, and the food and drinks did not disappoint!
It is important to note that this is a very simple venue, so no pool/spa and the wifi isn't great in the rooms, but this is all clearly mentioned in the facilities prior to booking, so I had managed my expectations.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I definitely recommend staying here if your needs aren't fancy.
Wifi isn't great in rooms

Everything: the staff, the rooms, the warm welcoming, the food. I liked the fact that is a hotel were some of the staff is being trained to work in tourism and our stay supports their training.
Nothing.

More that a drop is great! Beautiful, quiete place that is still a walkable distance to town (30min) or quick taxi ride. Food was especially stellar and veggie friendly. Breakfast is great, very delicious fruits and eggs made fresh every morning. The homemade spreads including guacamole was an especially nice touch
Laundry done onsite was expensive ($15-20) but was hand washed/convenient and supports the good mission behind more than a drop which is a hospitality college for girls.

Beautiful old walled manor and grounds with a lovely lush courtyard dining area. We stayed in the new garden cottages.
The only improvement I could suggest would be adding fans in the rooms.

Situated in a closed compound which was beautiful. It was a training hotel for young girls who were taught on site. The room was very clean and spacious with a good shower. The food served was all vegetarian but even a confirmed meat eater like me found them delicious.

Very Good
A very nice facility and very clean. EXTREMELY good service. The manager went far beyond the call of duty to help me resolve some problems with my mobile phone. She researched the problem and then took the phone to a nearby store herself to get it working. Everyone was very friendly and helpful
The property is located on the edge of town. If traveling without a car, either a taxi or a rather long walk are required to reach basic services such as ATM, grocery, bus stations, and stores. The windows in my room could not be locked without bending the screen. I did not feel secure at night.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and staff were really lovely. The room was nice with a garden outlook.
I stayed on a Friday night and there was nightclub next door that was quite loud until about 1am. Something to be aware of if staying on weekends.

Amazing stay! First stop in mainland Tanzania and was just spectacular. Mille took care of all of our needs, cars, trips even my husband's dairy free birthday cake. Food was vegan/vegetarian and delicious at a fair price. Wifi worked great. Had a generator so that even when the power went out it came back on almost immediately.
Birds and chickens very early in the morning. Not the best sound to wake up to
