A lot of mosquitoes and building is so old. They should renovate. At the restaurant, a lot of flies on the table. They should have the traps. Far from downtown and traffic so terrible.

The a la carte food was very good however the time for preparation was very slow.
The beach lounges were quite comfortable.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
The beach is basically unworkable because of all the seaweed everywhere.
The location is rather remote with the nearest restaurants 5 km away.
While there are TVs in the rooms, they don't work because the resort hasn't signed up for TV service; as such, it is totally misleading for the resort to sat there are TVs in the rooms because they don't work.

Management staff were great and helpful. A day visit to the magical island across the way THE best highlight!!! Clearest blue water I have EVER seen in my 30 yrs of travel.
It's also rented out for private parties and a big day visitor spot on weekends ... So the resort was incredibly crowded and very lively and noisy. Friendly, fun and lovely if that's what you like.... But a bit too much for us and no mention of it anywhere. We escaped to the island which was perfect..

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kijiji Beach Kigamboni and truly enjoyed the peaceful beachfront setting and warm hospitality. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and kind. Breakfast was enjoyable overall.
I would suggest two simple improvements: including drinking water as part of the breakfast offering and taking measures to keep flies away during mealtimes. These small changes would make a big difference in the guest experience. That said, the location is unbeatable for a quiet retreat, and I’d definitely consider returning. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxed escape close to Dar es Salaam.

I stayed at the jiji for few days . It was calm, with beautiful grounds and very friendly staff. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were extremely varied, tastes including roasts, pasta and a The room was comfortable. Mostly very young families and older couples, so not a place for wild nightlife, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The hotel owner and her hadband were awesome people and make my stay more comfortable. masseuse lady was wonderful too.

Great service, the garden is so lovely and lush!
The only problem I found was with the tide being far out during the day so no swimming in the ocean during the hottest time of day.
If I understood correctly this is the way it is in the coast of Dar so it's not a problem with the resort, just the way it is usual. There is a really nice pool for those that don't mind.
