They mentioned that they have a sports centre/fitness centre at the hotel which I thought was a proper gym. But it was just a small room with two treadmill machines.
I was told at the check in that, I would be offered a discount which is about NTWD 5000 and I had to sign for it which I did. However at the check out, I was not refunded anything at all. I don't mind as I was not expecting a cheaper price but I find this fishy.

Yusense Hotel is right place to stay if you want to spend a few days away from overbusy Taipei downtown, this hotel is just in 15 min away from 101 by taxi and 25 min away from Shilin MRT by walking. Near by you can find an amazing parks, I strongly recommend to went both of them. During our long honeymoon holidays we've stayed there twice, everything was absolutely good, extremely friendly stuff helped to fix a small issues we faced.

The surroundings were quiet and the hotel felt luxurious. The staff were very friendly and professional. I also enjoyed that the breakfast was a menu to select from as this made me feel food would not go to waste and I ate what I could finish.
Ground floor where I got off from the taxi is a large, uninviting empty entrance with a signage that says 'check in at level 3'. This may not have been the case before but I feel that the first entry point ought to be more warm and inviting. Other than that I have no other complaints.
