TINY room, the bed takes up the whole space, and it was FREEZING and the heat did not work. The staff gave me a hard time about bringing a friend upstairs and threatened to charge me extra.

The location is great, very near to everything that matters as a tourist
Do not book their single room, there is no bed that just a mattress on the floor. Also there are no hooks to hang the towel on. I’m not going into the size of the room because it’s Asia after all

The location is phenomenal. It’s near major locations like main transportation, MRT & Busses, and a short walk to Taipei Main Station if you want to walk. The staff has been friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and neat. It’s near plenty of food locations as well.
My room was small. It was a struggle for me to put my light travel stuff because there wasn’t a proper storage space for it. I think the price tag should be a bit lower for the space I’m paying for it.

The location and the large space of the room
The sound of the car due to the hotel is located at the junction. However, if you wear ear pugs, it gonna be fine. (I stay at 2nd floor room)

Disappointing
The hotel was centrally located, with easy access to both airports by MRT. Check in and checkout were easy.
The economy single room I stayed in had no bed—Just a mattress on the floor, in a subtropical climate, getting no air circulation under it or on the three sides that abutted the walls. That’s super not sanitary and not how mattresses work. The air conditioning cooled the room to a frosty 22C, even when set to higher temperatures like 27-28. Turning it off just made the room hot and muggy fast. The bathroom is separated by a glass wall, which is frosted by the shower, but not the toilet. If you stay as a couple, someone will have a view, and not the good kind. Finally, the rooms and lobby have been freshened, but the elevator gives away the dinginess and age of the hotel just beneath the surface.

This place is all about the location!
My room was smaller in person - there was no room to place your luggage. That being said, I did book the smallest room type (no window) as I was only staying for 2 nights.

The location is nice, very accessible. The hotel is convenient to check in and out.
A bit loud from the street so please bring ear plug. The bed was sunken, I have to rotate them by myself to able to sleep comfortably. The rest is very fine to stay if you wanna be around Ximen.

The room was super clean. Fresh set of towels and bottled water everyday. Super accommodating staff. Easy check in and out process. Very near to establishments and to Ximending night market.
