There's a ton to like about this place:
It's super close to the Beimen station and Taoyuan airport terminal.
The rooms, while small, are comfortable and clean. You also get a private locker box to lock up your stuff.
The staff are super nice and accommodating. You can drop off your stuff before you check in and you can leave your stuff there for a bit after checking out if your flight leaves later in the day
Nanxing Night market is basically a stone's throw from the place. There are also many local breakfast joints nearby as well.
It can't be helped considering the layout of the place but it would be nice if the shower rooms were separated / closed off to dry and change easily. You get a private room to shower of course but you basically gotta dry off inside. It's not a problem for me but it might be a concern for others.

I think this is the best hostel ive ever stayed. I stayed in a female dorm (4 beds), the room is not big for 4 beds, i mean you can not put your luggage inside the room bcause it will be too packed. But you can store your suitcase outside they provided the luggage room. The bed was comfortable, the room is clean. The shower works perfectly. They even provide michelar water, cotton pads,lotion, also hair tie, which as a woman im so happy to get this. The common space is so big, the refrigerator is also big so dont worry to keep you food there. It is so quiet at night so you will be able to sleep well. Taipei station is around 1.1km from the hostel or around 12mnts walking. The nearest station is beimen station-450m from the hostel. Ningxia market is 12mnts walking distance. There are also many food stalls near the hostel.
Nothing actually. But mybe one of the staff when i stayed for my first 4 days was a bit unfriendly. He is not that friendly compared to the other staff who welcomed me when i checked in on my first day. Mybe he had a bad day. Not sure. Hehe.but overall i had a good time staying at the we come hostel. And definately will stay here again if im back to taipei.

Had all the facilities you'd want/expect in a hostel.
I had a bit of a weird interaction on check-in with a staff member who didn't seem to care much or provide much info, and then saw him do the same to another guy in my dorm just 15 mins later, who was left equally confused.
The 6th-floor dorms (dorm with balcony) are far superior in every aspect - I had rated it as my best ever hostel stay just two weeks prior, but this experience seemed like your standard hostel experience, which was made more disappointing considering I paid much more this time.
Toilets and showers were maintained okay but not always clean. Less social and kitchen space for an area with more people. Less secure, less space, less clean.

I liked the location - it was in a quieter street than other hostels.
For some context, I had been staying at Star Hostel (Main Station) before this, but it was fully booked, so I had to move here for a couple of nights.
I had two separate reservations, but the staff required me to check out and check back in — even though I was staying consecutively. I had to ask if I could check in earlier on my second night, which seemed like a reasonable request.
My first night was on the 2nd floor, where the lounge is located. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and while the lounge itself was okay, the air conditioning was weak, making it uncomfortable to stay there for long. They were also upselling a lot of small items (like food and toiletries), which gave the place a less welcoming feel. Overall, compared to Star Hostel, this stay felt just okay.
My second night, I stayed on the 6th floor, and the experience was much better. The bathrooms and rooms were cleaner, the lounge was nicer, and the staff were more helpful. It honestly felt like a completely different hostel.
Overall, my stay improved significantly on the second night, but consistency across floors and rooms would make a big difference.

Great location!
I enjoyed my stay on the sixth floor, where I had a much better experience compared to my previous stay on the 2nd floor. The bathrooms and rooms were clean, the doors and facilities well maintained, and the lounge area was comfortable and nicely set up. The staff on this floor were also much friendlier and more accommodating. Compared to other parts of the property, the 6th floor felt quieter, cleaner, and overall more pleasant.
I think the experience and cleanliness varies from floor to floor. Very much disliked my 2nd floor stay, but quite enjoyed my 6th floor stay!

The hostel is very clean and well maintained, the common area is inviting and has good atmosphere. The hostel is selling basic products in the kitchen for a very decent prices (10$ for water). Hostel staff speaks good English and was very helpful.
The room was big, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The air-conditioning was really good and cooled the room in a very comfortable way.
The location is not the best. It is a bit far from MTR stations. Taipei bus and train stations are about 15 walking, but there isnt really a good alternative walking.
It was hard for me to find what to eat at night. Ningxia night market is not far but other than that there isn't much in less than 10-15 minutes walking.
The double room didn't have a window, which didn't bother me so much for 1 night.
