When we reach around 1 plus pm, they actually got us a room and we were allowed to checked in. Though my parents room are of different level, they were able to change for us the next day to the same level which is very kind of them. The Hotel is also many banks and convenient stalls nearby and a small super market + laundrymat just 5 mins walk away. The street in front of the hotel is not congested, as compared to the main road. Overall, for the price we are paying, its quite worth it.
For food wise, have to walk a bit further down the road. Areas around the hotel looks old, but they do have mac, kfc and mos around the area. The breakfast area is small, and there are no large malls around the hotel area.

The service was excellent. They actually gave us a free upgrade, but my partner wanted the wooden floor, so we didn't take it. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was decent. We are vegans, and they have enough vegan options.
The ? is accessible by bus but not by the MRT. However, Uber is a good option ... There was a window, but not really a view. Nothing else to complain really.

Very Good
The room is largely fine. Spacey and cozy. Yet, its is sort of old-fashioned, and hence the vibe is not that vibrant. I feel very okay to stay inside the room even for a long time but the rest is not that impressive.
The staff are very helpful though.

The size of the room was brilliant, comfortable beds, clean, and great staff. Provision of daily afternoon snacks was a very nice touch.
A little old and musty smelling but not a turn off. Everything else made up for it.

Good value for money, breakfast is good with some local options. Room cleaners are very polite and hard-working. Front desk staffs also trying to help at their best. The local community around the hotel is also great. Loved the atmosphere there! Room is clean and tidy. Very spacious room, too.
Facilities are actually a bit old, it is not too close from the metro (13 mins walk). But really - nothing to complain given the price they are charging. Bus is a good option to explore the city, considering it is 5-6 mins away from the bus stop.

The staff were very helpful and very professional. As a foreigner, I very much appreciated that the front desk staff were able to assist with calling a taxi. Both the room and the rest of the hotel were very clean. The breakfast was also very good.

The room is spacious, I like the tub most. The location is very great, because there is a night market nearby. Cheap food and delicious food is always my priority. Customers always prefer multi food choices if you consider restaurant number near your hotels. Besides, Taipei Metro station station is just three blocks away, like 15 minutes walking distance, so you don't need to worry about the transportation.
The smell of the room is the least thing I don't like. It is OK if the air condition is turned on and set at the highest stage.

The buffet breakfast was great.
Cleaning lady was very kind to give us fruit and treats when we went out. She did a good job cleaning the room.
I don’t particularly like the dark colour/pattern of the carpet but I guess that’s the style of the room.

Wonderful
Very comfortable well furnished room (honeymoon suite) with a lot of space. Pleasant hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast, good wifi and very fine location in central taipei. Excellent value for money.
Choice of international tv channels minimal and breakfast could have a bit more western options.
