Comparing to the US, where I am coming from, the quality of facilities and service is awesome. Great location - 2min from MRT and a walk from 101 all the surrounding attactions
I had to think hard to find a complaint: too many light switches and I had a problem finding the master. Everything else was perfect

Great location! Very clean and spacious room with lots of amenities. Great view looking out onto the city. Nice swimming pool, gym facilities are great with steam sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet delicious, croissants are best! Staff are absolutely amazing! They were always so kind and prompt replying to my questions and requests. They really try their best to make the guests feel comfortable and worry-free. Thank you for a wonderful time!
The line for the breakfast buffet would get quite long sometimes and indoor seating was not available depending on when we went down to eat. We didn’t mind because sitting poolside had a nice ambiance, but it can get humid. A little more variety in food selection would be nice.

In most of Taiwan hotel staff are quite cold whereas at the W Taipei, all the staff were incredibly friendly and outgoing, and gave me tips and advice and asked me questions unprompted. From the doorman to the check-in counter to the bartenders to the pool staff, everyone was all smiles which really made a big difference. I would also say that this property is ideal for someone that wants the perfect balance of grand luxury but also colorful fun.

The suite is not a real suite. When you close the sliding door, the side wall has gaps due to the wooden slats like structure. The sofa was not a sofa bed, they just put sheets over a narrow sofa. The traffic noise is very loud in the early morning rush hour even though we are on the 27th floor.
