the staff was really nice, the location is really central if you like vibrant and lively neighbourhood. there is no noise next to the room. a kettle with coffee was provided.
the simple bed was quiet small. There is no shower cabin. you shower on the floor. you need some badge to use the elevator so when you come in the first time you need to climb the stairs until the reception. It is a bit old building and does not really look like on the pciture.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was a ten minute walk to the Ximen metro station and close to the trendy Ximending area. It was also close to the older, more traditional areas of the city. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They let me check-in early, kept my bicycle safely indoors in their front reception area. Jaeden gave me some helpful recommendations on what to see in Taipei and in the rest of Taiwan while cycling around the country.
Shower is in the main bathroom, not enclosed. Shower shoes are provided since the bathroom floor gets wet from showering. I didn’t mind however some may not like this setup.

Even though we got there at midnight because of the typhoon, the staff was still around. She showed us to our room and told us about nearby food spots so we could grab a late-night snack. The room was clean and well-maintained. The AC was a lifesaver during the night. The location is awesome for getting around and shopping. We even took one bus straight to Jiufen, which was a huge plus. Our stay was totally worth it—bonus: if you don't mind walking upstairs, take a look at their thoughtful decorations on their stairway! ???

Access to stairs will be a challenge for seniors. Place is a bit old but no problem at all. The main reception is different building on the accomodation but no problem at all also.

The property was located near the famous food shops, convenience stores and is within the shopping district. Everything you need is within walking distances.
The host and reception were very accommodating, we arrived at 5AM and they accommodated us right away and had our check-in docs prepared ahead. They provided generous amounts of free water (bottled) that lasted during our stay. The property was clean and comfortable.
The host also accommodated our request to put the rooms close to each other as they were initially in two separate buildings.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely come back.
The rooms were only accessible by stairs so we have to carry our luggages upon arrival and departure. But we were already notified ahead by the host about this and asked if we wanted to push through with the booking.
Wifi was not consistently stable but the rooms have good cellular reception so data is accessible.

Our room on the 3rd floor didn’t have an elevator. I didn’t really mind since I only brought a carry-on but probably not ideal if you have heavy bags.

The owners are very kind. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center. They provide free coffee, water, toiletries, and slippers. The Wi-Fi is fast, and there is also a hair dryer available.

The staff was polite as we had to check in late after our flight but I did not interact with them apart from that. The room was clean. The location is great, you're a few minutes away from a convenient MRT station and a huge walking area with many stores and restaurants.
The room was smaller than expected and we were put in a separate building with steep stairs and no elevator. The AC and fan were rather loud and soundproofing was not really a thing, as you could hear everything from the street below, like scooters passing by. The bathroom was on a corner so there was even less space in there, and we had to sweep the water after a shower. Opening the outside door would hit the handle of the next room door, so the place was somewhat tight.

The room was relatively small, but since I only stayed for a short trip and spent most of the day outside exploring, it worked perfectly fine for me.
The location is in the Ximending area, which is super convenient, though you’ll need to walk a bit, so definitely bring a comfy pair of shoes .
One thing I absolutely loved was their two dogs! They were incredibly cute and very friendly, which honestly made the stay feel memorable.
Overall, if you’re looking for a short-term stay with a reasonable price (honestly, pretty cheap for the area) and you plan to spend most of your time out exploring anyway, this place is definitely worth considering.

Clean.easy to roam around the area and nearest to train station like 5mins to walk
The area I booked was on the annex side.the only thing is the stairs going up especially when you have a luggage to carry - not advisable for senior. They have the main with elevator.
