lIf you need to be in Tucheng, it is the only real hotel option. Very nice rooms and small lobby with good work area. Staff is very diligent and accommodating
Only problem is the price, high for Taiwan

Plenty of good small food stalls around. The staff was helpful and nice. Place is quite clean especially when we are close to the market. There is a snack/dining area for guests with free snacks which was a nice perk. The metro is also a walkable distance.
The walls are thin and I wish there is a shower curtain because water gets everywhere. Rooms are on a smaller side and there is no closet to put your luggage.

The location is superb. The staff were quick in response. We received a free upgrade and thats very kind! The beds are very comfortable.
The sound insulation could be better. The free drinking and snacks bar is a great idea, but the breakfast is very limited to only toast and jam.
