Wonderful
We were there for a week, arrived from Seattle, spent one night. Then returned for a five night stay. Very accommodating staff with keeping our bags for a few days until our return from a short trip. Staff was very helpful with taxis and directions, The breakfast meal was wonderful and its offerings changed each day. The location of this hotel was perfect, not far from the main train station.
There was a problem with the television not working in our room, but finally were given a different room. When we returned from a short trip we were given a disability room which felt like being in a hospital. Wonderful if it is needed but not a nice room to come back to after a long day. We paid extra and had them change our room to a upgraded room. It was completely worth the extra charge to get a room with a balcony and nice city view.

Wonderful
Very large and comfortable room, great facilities and complementary snacks. Everything is technological and feels new.
No laundry in the hotel, breakfast is nice but a bit basic (there are a lot of great breakfast spots in the area)

Bed is comfortable. Convenient location with lots of restaurants/ food near to hotel.
Room is dark and not cleaned properly. The same sock tag left by some other guest which remained there after my 4 days stay. The aircon cannot be controlled properly, either too warm or too cold.

We originally booked 5 nights, but left after one - thank you hotel staff for doing the right thing and, if reluctantly at first, refunding us the unused nights (though we paid full rate for the one night.). Our friends stayed next door at a different hotel owned by the same company, the Tango (Linsen) which they said was a pleasant and a better stay than ours.
We as full time travelers stay in top line (Ritz Carlton) and budget properties (including home stays), so we allow for variation. Perhaps we had a bad start when we got to the Tango and had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to show up to check us in (around 6 pm so not late.). Very limited English spoken, which you wouldn’t expect at this 4 star rating and price point. Room was dated - like many business hotels in Taiwan, it was geared toward primarily Japanese guests 20 years ago (when I was coming here for business as well) but not renovated since. There were various 10-15 year old electronic ports, and a DVD player! to connect to the TV but none worked, just random wires hanging out, including a non-working HDMI cable. Motorized curtains, but the remote didn’t work, etc. Breakfast while supplied was sterile and limited by any standards. We like to exercise, but their fitness room was ridiculously small, more like a closet with a treadmill - not enough room for even 2 people to work out, clearly just to check the amenity box on booking.com. When I protested about the “gym”the staff said I should use the one at the sister hotel nextdoor, the Tango Linsen, which tells me I’m not the first to complain.

Very Good
The quality of this hotel was very high. I stayed at a high level and with an amazing view to Taipei 101 tower. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed.
The staff weren't overly friendly and the breakfast options a bit limited for the Western palate :)

Wonderful
The room was location on the top floor of the building and was truly one of a highlight of my trip! The balcony offered an absolutely breathtaking view of Taipei 101, and I loved that the bathroom also boasted such a fantastic panorama. For me, a hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's part of the vacation experience, and this one certainly delivered. Breakfast if very good and free beverages from the lounge is a plus.
The location was unbeatable, with countless restaurants and convenience stores just steps away. Being so close to Taipei Main Station made getting to all the tourist attractions incredibly easy. What really sealed the deal was the amazing staff; they were so helpful and even let me check in three hours early, which was a huge convenience. This hotel was definitely worth every penny!
They need to upgrade from regular flat screen TVs to Smart TVs.

Good
The bed stated in the room description on the booking platform was a king bed, but the actual bed was queen! Breakfast variety is more suited to local taste. Don’t find that very appetising

Such a nice treat for our last night in Taipei. Super comfortable bed, fantastic shower, all the luxurious extras and amenities (i.e. coffee machine, music in the bathroom, screen to watch TV while having a bath! etc). Definitely worth spending the money to get a really comfortable last night's stay. Great area of the city too with lots of cool shops and restaurants.
Not a big deal, but we were told upon check-in that the mini bar was free, but it only had 3 small soft drinks in it. So probably not something to advertise, as normally mini bars have snacks, beer etc in them.

+ location - 15 minutes by walk from Taipei main bus/rail/THSR/metro station
+ it was more over quiet from outside and inside
+ lunch style breakfast
+ staff & facilities
+ EU electricity socket on the desk
+ in general, everything - would book again
- TV had USB input but it wasn't accessible since TV was mounted to the wall. There was USB input on desk, but TV did not recognize the USB key - I wanted to play movies via TV, but couldn't due to this reason

Good location. Staff were fine and room was spacious.
Breakfast was terrible and cold. Not many options at all. Our room was humid and had a damp sell which wasn't pleasant. The toilet was not cleaned properly which was quite unsettling. I would probably try another Tango hotel nearby.
