The toilet opens automatically for you when you walk into the bathroom, enough said.
The size of the room could have been a bit bigger, I was expecting something larger.

Wonderful
Very good and helpful staff, the room was comfortable and very clean, excellent location/
There was only 1 elevator, so sometimes it took a longer time to travel to the room. The other elevator started on the second floor and not from the lobby.

Good
Central location though you have to walk 8-10 min to the MRT station
The room I first booked had such a tiny window that it really felt like a cupboard. It should not be advertised as a normal room. Basically no natural light. There is one per floor of that type apparently. Staff helped me change with a supplement, to the only available other room a "spa suite" and it was only available for a few days so I had to move out after that. There was a bath tub and a balcony, with a view on the scrubber on the roof of the next building.
It was a "suite" so tiny there was no room to open your suitcase apart from the small sofa or the bed.

Their body wash was exceptionally good and made my skin so soft LOL, I had to buy a bottle from them to bring home. Concierge was very nice and accommodating, great stay!

Pleasant
The bathtub with balcony and Taipei 101 view was pretty impressive. The bathroom had a bidet, TV located in the bathroom to watch while having a bath and remote controlled blinds.
Location wise, there are tons of restaurants nearby as well as some conveniently located breakfast areas.
Room was well equipped with tea, coffee, snacks and soft drinks which are replenished daily. They even had loose leaf oolong tea.
Bed was comfy and despite being near a busy road, it was pretty quiet at night.
The carpet in the room was pretty dusty in my opinion. I went in the spring so maybe there was also more pollen in the air, but after the first night of staying there I had congestion and a runny nose. The dust by the bed was visible. The staff accommodated this by providing an air purifier, and I requested a second clean.
I haven’t stayed in many carpeted hotels but I was a little let down because the bathroom was a stark contrast in comparison (very clean and well taken care of).

Wonderful
the room was lots big enough with a large balcony. It seems like they’ve thought of everything. They even had a little bag marked to take the used soap home. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Lots of places nearby to shop and eat. Also 2 blocks from a street with many many bars. The shower and large jacuzzi tub were amazing and there were free snacks and drinks. Very large comfortable bed. 4 english TV movie channels although with, so much to do, hanging around the room seems wasteful.Automatic curtains, drapes and toilet.
sink tap in bad position for hand washing. A bit too dark in the bathroom to see to shave.

Very Good
My second stay at this hotel. This time, I booked the room with a washing machine, which was convenient. Bed was super comfortable, and came with extra pillows. Rainfall shower was hot and powerful. Even the soap was an exfoliating bar. Free sodas in the micro fridge.
Bathroom faucet is still the dumbest design I've ever seen. Room could have used some extra cleaning to remove dust and stray hairs.

everything was great, from the hotel staff up to the location of the hotel...Big plus is the early check in that they give to us.☺️☺️☺️... We will certainly go back if we gave a Taipei trip in the future...
room bit small and pricey...but checking the hotels around it seems a fair price all along...☺️☺️☺️

More features than I've seen in any Taipei hotel room. A TV with a 5.1 surround sound system, a DVD player, microwave (rare for Taiwan), tea set, rainfall shower head, and electric curtains. This hotel really tries to impress you with bells and whistles.
Room was not particularly clean. Dust was everywhere, streaks on glass surfaces, stray hairs in the bathroom, and stains on the wallpaper. They could really use more attention to detail. Also, the bathroom faucet is the worst design, ever. All it does is splash water everywhere.

The room we booked is Wonderful Studio. The bed is comfortable and internet works fine. The washing machine (with dryer) is indeed handy. Every day we have 4 bottled water (about 600ml) and snacks at mini bar are free. Safe is big enough to accommodate 13 inch laptop. There is only about 6-7 rooms in each floor so less chances of getting noisy neighbours. Check out time is at 11 AM, but after that we can sit at the restaurant at Level 2 (breakfast place) for few hours.
The room description states Wonderful Studio's room size is 43m2 but we don't feel it's much bigger than Premium King (33 m2). Carpet areas by the walls look dusty. The disposable room slippers are fragile, easily torn. Breakfast options need improvement.

Premium King room is comfortable, the window faces Royal Inn Taipei Linsen Hotel. Bed is very comfortable and firm. Warm water takes a while to come by but the pressure is OK. I love the coffee machine with ILLY capsules and the snacks are free. There is an iron & ironing board as well.
The corners of the carpet looks dirty. When I turn on the master light switch, even the toilet lights are turned on. The mat for the bath tub has black spots. There is 1 night that I woke up around 2 AM because there is a loud siren, maybe from ambulance passing by Linsen North Rd. Breakfast options for western food is quite limited and don't always change.

Wonderful
We were there for a week, arrived from Seattle, spent one night. Then returned for a five night stay. Very accommodating staff with keeping our bags for a few days until our return from a short trip. Staff was very helpful with taxis and directions, The breakfast meal was wonderful and its offerings changed each day. The location of this hotel was perfect, not far from the main train station.
There was a problem with the television not working in our room, but finally were given a different room. When we returned from a short trip we were given a disability room which felt like being in a hospital. Wonderful if it is needed but not a nice room to come back to after a long day. We paid extra and had them change our room to a upgraded room. It was completely worth the extra charge to get a room with a balcony and nice city view.
