I like that the accommodation is near the coast.
I like how simple yet contains the basic needs and utensils (even free coffee was appreciated).

I liked that there was drinking water available so that I could fill my water bottle. I also liked that the lockers were big enough to fit my two backpack in it.

The location was good, easy to find. Staff was helpful.
Not the fault of the hostel but it was impossible to sleep when someone snores. The beds are too close together.

Second common room was 10/10 for getting work done with a great view of the river!!!
Great location, close but not too close to the markets and all the historic sites
Staff were super helpful, had a bad room-mate day 1 and they had no problem moving me

The location was the best part of this stay at Travelers Hostel. The neighborhood and boardwalk added much to the experience of staying in Tamsui. The rooms and bathrooms are set up as best they can for shared accommodations.
The WiFi actually did not work at all. I tried connecting to different ones for this hostel. No luck.

Modern with free coffee. Clean. 7/11 close by.
Most staff couldnt speak english. A bit far from the train station. Everybody needs to put the sheets off from the bed when leaving - that means people doing noise starting at 4/5am!!

The reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They are clearly interested in giving you the best experience possible.
There was a little bit of a musty smell in the room; but with the air conditioning on, it decreased. I am assuming the humidity is responsible for that.
