Great location: 2-3min through park to nearest metro station; less than 10min to great Ximen district, 10-15min to main Taipei station. Friendly girl at the counter :) Clean. Quiet in the room. Spacious bathroom. Efficient air conditioning. Tea, coffee and hot water available all day and night.
Although there is an elevator but it is pretty useles (unless one has big and heavy suitcase instead of backpack) - it starts from floor 2 and is suuuper slow.

Very clean and organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good across the park and walking distance to MRT.

The location is great, about 10 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station. Close by to shops and eateries and bus stops with buses taking you to key locations. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Overall, good value for money. Staff is friendly and helpful, provided clear instructions for late check-in way in advance.
There is a lift available but from 2nd floor onwards so be prepared to carry luggage up a flight of pretty steep stairs. Lift is a low speed elevator so it takes 2 minutes to get to the 7th floor. I appreciate that there is a lift but it really takes too long just to reach my room :(
Room is rather small, will not be able to squeeze having 2 big luggages in the room. The sink was blocked when I was staying there and I had to use the tap in the shower to wash my hands.

Fantastic staff, great location and lovely snacks and tea on offer.
The ceilings were crumbling in our room and dirty but everything else was clean and comfortable. Short reception hours
8h - 17h but check-in and out was really easy.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staffs. It's very close to the MRT station and Ximending, you can also walk from Taipei Main Station. Facilities are very clean and staff is very nice. Good value for money and definitely will back to stay next time!

Good location, near MRT. The hostel is surrounded by lots of convenience stores, breakfast restaurants, and coffee shops. The staff can speak English and she is quite helpful.
The room size is a bit small. The bed was so uncomfortable, we could hardly sleep. The sink in our room leaked so water was everywhere.

Clean, near metro and bus stop. I can walk from Taipei Main station, but taxi only 100-120, so i prefer taxis.
There is a complete kitchen.

The staff are really nice and they give accurate how to go to the hostel and help to find a taxi when i need to go back to Taipei main station.

-Loved almost everything! Location and amenities for a hostel are good! It's literally a walk in the park going to the nearest metro station. The hostel is located west side of the peace park and you just need to cross this park to get to the NTUH metro station (1 station away from Taipei Main Station), very convenient. 711 and Family Mart just a few meters away from the entrance. -Staff was very friendly and helpful -Free use of umbrellas was a plus plus! -Free water, tea, coffee and snacks at the common kitchen/dining hall also a plus plus! -Cheaply priced but worth it -At the time of booking and stay, this hostel had a score of 9.4 -Highly recommended for groups. We were 8 guests and we booked 2x quadruple rooms.
-No windows just in the particular room we booked, though I think I missed it in the room description when I booked the rooms. So my fault. -No bidet in the bathroom, but there's one in the ground floor toilet. -Size of the room we booked could have been bigger but with the price of the stay, I think it was okay and worth it. -Reception is only staffed until 5pm, but the staff arranged late self-check in for our group and it was smooth. Only downside is if you are leaving your luggage, you will have to come back for them before the staff goes home at 5. But this was clearly explained by the staff so it's up to you to make the compromise. -Still worth recommending for your budget stay!

There were washing machines and dryers that made travellers easy to wash and dry clothes. The beds were comfy. The children love the bunk beds a lot.
The elevator was only available at the 2nd floor. Large luggage has to be carried to the 2nd floor.
