At first it gave some weird vibes but eventually I don't have much negative opinions. The location is incredible, in the heart of ximen and about 5 min walk from metro. Stuff are nice and there are complementary drinks and snacks.
As a tall person I found it hard to shower with a low height shower head

Exceptional service and very accommodating with holding our luggages and allowing us to rest and dine on the 3rd floor. There are refreshments as well. Location is amazing, right in the middle of the Ximending Walking District.

The location is amazing.
Because the location is so good when there are shows on the street it is very noisy and you can hear it in the room.
There is only one elevator, something an issue.

Great location in the middle of Ximending. Free drinks with generous variety in the lounge, definitely a must for solo travelers who do a lot of hiking or walking through the city.
The room was a bit dated, but what really bugged me was I paid extra for a room with a window only to find a concrete wall outside of it. Not a single shred of sunlight. Even with all the lights on inside it felt drab and dreary. I wouldn't bother paying for a room with a window knowing there is a strong possibility of having this experience.

The location was perfect for us, and the rooms were cleaned everyday. There were free snacks available throughout the day and the front office personnel was very kind,-she allowed us to check in early. So glad i booked this hotel.

Perfect location, center of Ximending. Lots of stores and restaurants just outside the hotel, Donki is at the back of the hotel and Pop Mart is just few steps away. No breakfast included but there were free snacks 24/7. Glad I booked this hotel for our trip.

Its location is bustling with plenty of food options and interesting things to try, making it a great spot for exploring.
The rooms were incredibly spacious and cleaned every day, which made our stay very comfortable. I must mention the free snacks too – they were absolutely delightful! One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were close to each other, making our family trip even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for families looking for a fun and convenient stay in Ximending.

The location was great. We got to check in early and you could get free water, soft drinks and some chips on the 3rd floor. The rooms were spacious.
The place was quite worn down. There were stickers over cracked tiles in the bathroom. The biggest issue was that we always had to wait a long time for the elevator. It was better to just walk.

The hotel is in the heart of Ximending.
Accessible to famous stores like Popmart, Dodonki, ABC Mart, Carrefour, Sugar and Spice, etc, I'll definitely stay here next time.
Staff are polite and helpful. I remember my luggage lock was jammed at night, and I had a flight early in the morning. They helped me look for a locksmith. Luckily, after 10 minutes, the locksmith came and fixed my luggage. I was touched by how helpful they are to me. I might have forgotten their names, but I will definitely forever remember them in my heart. Thank you to the hard-working staff of the Rainbow Hotel.
