The hotel is located very central to many places, and it has a MRT station right in the front.
It lacked the common amenities such as toothbrushes, moisturizing lotions. In addition, the shower stall leaks water to the floor when showering.

1) Outstanding location next to Da'an MRT Station (Exit 6 is right outside the hotel entrance); makes getting around the city extremely easy because you have access to the red and brown lines. If you fly in / out to Taipei via Songshan Airport, the hotel is only four MRT stations away on the brown line. The red line is the best line for getting around Taipei.
2) Staff was super friendly. We would like to mention that Peggy at reception was extremely helpful and made check-in very easy and efficient. She made a great impression on us and we felt very welcomed. Thanks Peggy! The door man was also very friendly taking care of our luggage and followed us to the taxi with an umbrella when we left.
3) Hotel room was clean and comfortable (quite large too) and the A/C worked wonderfully.
4) Onsite restaurant was convenient and tasty; there are numerous eateries within walking distance or via MRT. Famous Din Tai Fung restaurant has three locations only a one MRT station away (on the brown line and the red line).
5) Highly recommend this hotel to any traveler to Taipei. Their motto was something like, your home in Taipei; it is for us and we've booked our next stay there already (we travel to Taipei a lot -- we just discovered them on our last trip).

I always stay here when I’m in Taipei. The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect.

The location is excellent for using the metro as well as for food in the neighborhood

The location is very convenient, close to Da’an MRT station and easy to get anywhere in downtown Taipei. The indoor deco is classic. Also the view is nice at 17th floor. The staffs are nice and explain things in details.
The breakfast place has quite limited seats. If you want to go it’s better to have reservation in advance. The room we had is on 17th floor with view. Probably because it was sunny and hot so at first we came in the room the temperature inside was 27 degree C. Even after the AC was turned on till the evening , the room temperature remained around 24 even the set temp was 20. Every time I walked out the door I felt the air in the hallway more refreshing than that inside the room.

Location, location and no smelly rooms. We stayed here about 5 years ago and the rooms were awful - avoided this hotel at all costs. Popped up on Booking and noticed the rooms looked a bit updated. Was pleasantly surprised- floors were laminated and bedding was clean. They also had 2 beds which I needed
Bathroom floors were stained - heavily - needed to change the ceramic tiles. Towels were kinda dirty and unfortunately no conditioner. They just left store bought bottles of Tresemme (?) and body gel. This would have been an easy upgrade - unfortunately they did not do it.

Amazing location!! There’s a metro stop quite literally outside the door. Walking distance to night markets and shopping. The weekend flower and plant market is just a cross the street.
It’s getting a little tired but really only slept there so perfect for what I needed.

I would have to say this was perhaps one of the top 5 accommodations that I've had the chance to stay at. Extremely clean, spacious and modern with great facilities and a very convenient location to shops and multiple train lines. I'd highly recommend this to anyone staying in Taipei.
