Pleasant
The location is near the main train station and the heart of the old city.
The hotel is more like for young people who prefer price over comfort. The HAVC system is very bad. There was a strong stale smell in the room. The room is very cramped and the window is very small and dark. The high rating of the hole is deceiving.

Location - walking distance to Taipei Main Station & Ximending. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Kaifeng street easy to find, not inside some inner street. Clean room & bathroom. Comfortable bed & pillows. Helpful & efficient staff. Family Mart next door & 7-11 just across. Mineral water, hotel slippers, free coffee/tea in the room. Toothpaste/tooth brush not provided - due to Taiwan law. There is lounge area with free coffee, biscuits/snack items.

Really lovely and helpful staff !
Room upgrade when I realized they weren’t sold out. I asked to see my options and voila, a nicer room :)
Signage missing. I hate that.
Make it easy for us folks. For next 4 days I aided other people in confirming that, yes, they found the right hotel and to head up to second floor for check in.

Staffs were kind and responsive, very clean hotel, with decent room size for 3 adults, very comfortable beds, pillows and comforter were very soft. The hotel was a walking distance from MRT. They allowed us to leave our luggages for storage before check in and after check out time, thus maximized our time exploring Taipei

Location is top tier, being only a short walk to Taipei Main Station. The room was spacious and rather comfortable. Staff were lovely and very flexible with luggage storage (both before check-in and after check-out where necessary).
My only critique would be the toilet which likely as part of a cleaning cycle or perhaps residual effects of the cleaning products used seems to release a very strong chlorine smell once flushed to the point where the bathroom will smell like an indoor chlorinated pool for about 30 minutes before the smell subsides. This may have just been my room. Otherwise, the stay was lovely.

First rate at a bargain price. Convenient to main station, surrounded by tons of eateries, shops, convenience stores. Very large room and bathroom, great air con, superb cleaning crew.

Convenient location, central to all. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Need more variety of snacks in the kitchen area. The walls are not really sound proof, I can hear people next door when they talk loud at night. Kids were too noisy. Otherwise, it's not a bad place.
