The location is incredible! A short walk to closest bus stop. The hotel has a very cute vibe. Loved the daily cleaning service. Great value for money.
The room is very small and the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom. Our room was also on the fourth floor with no lift so only possible if you're fit!

Super cute, friendly staff, very clean room.
Very tiny window that looked out onto a roof, and occasionally had cleaning staff grabbing things from some nook RIGHT outside. This window is in the bathroom/shower. No 24 desk person so if something goes wrong in the night you are screwed.

Quiet clean room in central Taipei, nice vintage look, great lobby area.
Impractical bathroom, toilet and entire floor gets wet when showering.

The staff was very friendly and carried my suitcase upstairs.
As a solo female traveler - I felt very safe knowing the door downstairs is only accessible with a key card.
I liked the pink hairdryer .
There was a kettle and mini fridge.
The bed was comfortable.
I wish there was a small table or something like that next to the sink where I can put my make up while getting ready. I am being nitpicky here, I know, but it was a bit inconvenient.

I was very happy with my stay at Jian Shan! The staff made a late night check in smooth and seamless. The room was clean, well stocked, and the shower was hot with good pressure.
The room is a bit small, but for the price, I was exceedingly satisfied!

The room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was of acceptable speed. The place was about 10 min walk away from the nearest MRT station and about 20 min walk away from Taipei Station. There is also a very nice local noodle shop near by.
Although this did not bother me too much there are no lifts.

Location was great. Close to night market.
No elevator. But front desk guy was helpful to bring our bags up. Also if the room is facing street its quite noisy as windows are single pane.

I liked this design hotel. Slept very well, very quiet. Close enough to walk to the Airport MRT in the morning. Special praise goes out to the very nice receptionist who speaks excellent English and keeps an electric guitar behind his desk as a reminder that one day he'll need to resume playing again. It speaks for the hotel when they have such pleasant and competent staff!

It's a small Hotel with a lot of Charm. I had Covid and isolated my self for a week in my hotel room, but the staff was very friendly, made sure I'm OK and offered to help with getting medicine. Luckily I didn't get hit badly, but it was nice to feel at a safe place.
There's no elevator, which was a bit painful when I had to climb the stairs during the time that I had Covid, which made me feel rather exhausted. But when not having any health issues, this should be fine.

Location was nice and in a quiet area with subways nearby. Rooms were fun, if a bit small, and the decorations were nice. Close to the street but still pretty quiet
