Pleasant
We had a wonderful view over the city and the river from our room. It was a short walk to old town and the water front. The MRT station was also close.
The hotel doesn’t live up to its price. The mattresses were worn with springs sticking out into our back. The air con didn’t work.

Nothing except staff is polite. Overall a horrible experience. Nothing about the hotel justifies its 4 star rating.
There was no air conditioning in the room, so I had to open the balcony door for a very cold temperature of 8 degrees or a stuffy room with no air. The fridge does not work. The room is so old, it looks like a room from the 70s. The breakfast is so similarly lacking in quality, an attempt at a cup of hot chocolate is in reality a cup of mildly cocoa-flavoured water. How can the owners and operators have no qualms about leasing rooms which, apart from basic cleanliness, have little to offer? I booked for 2 nights but bolted once sunlight came … and never looked back!

Perfect stay for my one night while in town. Friendly staff made the check-in seamless. Nice size room with comfy bed, clean environment, balcony, bathtub, fridge, etc. Location is great: Only a 7 minute walk from the Tamsui MRT station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores just steps away from the hotel. Right across the street is a small shop that sells delicious coffees and lattes, and five minutes away is an American restaurant (Kooks 異嗑堂) that has good Mexican food--a real treat in Taiwan.

No toilet paper in toilet... breakfast was really poor and they stopped sending more food at 9:30 however the breakfast time finished at 10:00 Staffs didn’t care about anything... A really Disappointed experience for whole stay
