1. Breakfast consisted of pre-prepared sandwich buns with either a meat or fish. And white bread to toast. Pretty meager.
2. Mold on the tiles in the shower and on bathroom walls.

They didn’t have any breakfast. Tried to complain, the don’t understand English. Complained to booking.com couldn’t get help either. Waste of money.

The safety deposit safe was not working and I advise staff but nothing was done. Luckily, my sister was at the Shangri-La and I used their safe to store my passport

For all of you please be very careful with the shower, just waiting for accident to happen. You have to climb to get to the shower.

The location was great. It was close to good restaurants and convenience stores. It was safe to walk even late at night.
The rooms were spacious. The lobby led to a nice veranda which my family hung out at to talk.
The hotel rooms (6 of them that I booked) all came with breakfast. However breakfast was in Mos Burger, which though close enough, was small and crowded. We had to wait for almost an hour to get our food. The stench in the restrooms downstairs wafted to the main dining place. We didn't bother to use the vouchers after 3 days of poor service. A simple breakfast in the hotel would have been better.
The lady at the front desk had a poor grasp of English yet she was the one visibly annoyed when we could not understand her.

There are several great restaurants within walling distance
I chose this hotel because it has Taipei 101 view (double checked with the property staff before I canceled the other three hotel bookings). But they downgraded me to a room without Taipai 101 (or any) view when I arrived. There is no reason to choose this hotel if not for the Taipei 101 view. The decor, furniture, and amenities are outdated; the room has a musty smell; very hard to park.

Location is great. Easy walk to metro, lots of restaurants and shopping all around.
Dates property, off putting odor in the checkin lobby, inaccessible outlets by the bed, one outlet was surrounded by gaping hole in drywall, bedsheet had old cigarette burn, bathroom tub was deep and tiled with no hand bar, very slippery and quite dangerous getting in and out of, and no hand soap provided by the sink. Hallway noise from other guests and doors were loud and disruptive. Rate was typical city pricing but for $260/night, we felt overcharged.
