I stayed at a single room with shared bathroom, the room was just the right size with window, love the sunlight! Shower water was really hot, and the space was clean. Breakfast was great too though you need to top up if above $70. Love that the bookstore was in the same building. The design was so creative. Convenient location, walkable distance to Taipei main and Zhongshan
It’d be great if there are tissues provided in the room. Also it’s true that the sound proofing was not too great, but it didn’t affect my experience.

Very Good
This time I booked a 4-people dorm (instead of 6-people like last time) and it was super quiet. There were no windows to the street, so there was no car noise at night. I slept so much better this time.
The room as well as shower area was clean and there was always toilet paper, shampoo and soap and never had to wait, no matter if I wanted to shower in the AM or PM.
The mattress was decent, it was not worn out.
Room was really spacious enough to open luggage and repack!
Breakfast in the morning was good and service was fast. (I always went at 7:30am)
The little locker at the bedside is so loud. I had to leave early in the morning and came back late as night. While I think I was quiet enough for the roommates to not wake up when was up and getting ready to leave or go to bed, opening the lock and closing it was super loud. and definitely woke them up. I'm sorry.

Convenient location with a 7/11 nearby and many restaurants that stay open late. It is within walking distance to Ningxia Night Market and several arts districts. However, when you first arrive in Taipei, the walk from Taipei Main Station or the Airport Express Rail may feel longer than expected due to wide, busy roads. If you have large luggage, I would recommend taking an Uber.
The room size is comfortable if you plan to spend most of your day exploring the city. They also have another property in Jiufen, which is a nice option if you plan to stay overnight there. Many day tours meet at Taipei Main Station, making it easy to coordinate daily activities from this hotel.
Please double-check whether the room you book has elevator access, as some units are stair-only. Breakfast is decent (about 7/10), though there are plenty of alternatives nearby. It can be noisy at night, so bringing earplugs is advisable.

They create a community more than just a hotel, where you can stay, have breakfast, get some book and listen to some lecture. Vibes are great and location is convenient to metro. I particularly like the small balcony they offer to single-stay room. Good atmosphere to stay in the balcony to do some readings. Breakfast is also good.
Bed in single room is quite small even if I am not tall. For tall person, I think bed in double room might be more comfortable for them.

The hostel is in a fun location. There is a bookstore on the first floor and a yummy breakfast shop. The ZhongShan area is both convenient and has lots of shops nearby.

The property is very accessible and close to the train station. It also has a good cafe/restaurant below and other food establishments around which is good for breakfast or quick snacks or meals. The staff are friendly.
The bathroom is quite weird wherein the shower and sink are in one place. They could improved the bathroom set up better. The team should also regularly fix the room and include the bed when they do.

The hostel is very cute and has its character, i really like it! I booked the room where everything is ensuite , so it's quite private. the space is really small especially for me with big luggage, but it's understand as it is a hostel. the room is basic but comfy. The building i was on has elevator, but i think the other building does not have it, so you can check with the hotel before booking to ensure that you can carry the luggage upstairs. you might hear some noise from other rooms or the neighbors, there are earplugs available in the room.
The common area is great. there are kitchen area, and craft beer available as well( honest system). the location is very cool, it's close to Taipei bus station, but you can also walk to Zhongshan station and the linear park. very cool cafe, shops, bars, food. 7-11 opposite the hostel is awesome, it's like a themed one where they have limited edition of goods. I really like this hostel!

The room was just nice for two. We chose one with a shared toilet and bathroom, which was fine since they were on the same level. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was provided with a good variety. Considering the price, it was definitely worth it. The hostel was also conveniently located near both Taipei Main Station and Songshan Station, making it easy to get around the city.

Located between Taipei Station and Songshan Station, it's also quite near the bus station (if you plan to take a bus to and from the hotel to the airport), it has a cafe so you can use the breakfast vouchers to have breakfast here. The shared pantry is linked to a bookstore. Room is clean and spacious.
Showerhead directed at toilet area, making it very wet after showering, sometimes the toilet paper will also be wet, unless you roll it up beforehand. Basin area small, difficult to place stuff such as toothbrush/toothpaste/facial cleanser if there's more than one adult.

Location is excellent! It is easy for us to travel anywhere we like using metro. The place was super clean, there is staff cleaning the bathroom everyday. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast options were great and affordable (if you order something more expensive than your breakfast voucher).
There is bidet in the bathroom in the first floor but not in the 3rd floor where my room was located. A bathroom/toilet without a bidet is quite inconvenient.
I hope the breakfast place/cafeteria has an option for coffee in their drink menu.
