Wonderful
Fantastic value, considering how close it is to the Taipei main station, and pretty easy to go anywhere in Taipei. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hostel had everything I needed and served its purpose really well. Especially helpful was the nice, properly functioning laundry and dryer.

Location was good and room was comfortable
For my personal experience, staff was a bit off. While they were welcoming, they often would get drunk and host their friends over into the small common space. There were a few inappropriate comments from the only male staff member there.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! First and foremost, the location was perfect – close to everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The common area was a great place to relax and work on my laptop, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee, as well as the option to do laundry for a small fee – very convenient!
Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of my stay that I found less satisfactory. The room was quite cramped, and there was very little natural light, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The temperature in the room was also difficult to regulate. While the toilets were clean, the showers were rather uncomfortable due to the awkward door design. I would suggest installing hooks on the inside of the shower doors to hang towels. Additionally, the sink area for brushing teeth and washing faces was partially outdoors, which could be problematic in colder weather. Finally, I would recommend the hostel consider providing umbrellas for guests to borrow, as this would be a very useful amenity

Great location, super nice (and conscientious) staff, comfortable and very well designed bunks. The toilets are a bit close to the wall so standing up again after sitting can become interesting if your legs are long. The common area and kitchen are pretty much just one big room but this encouraged many conversations while I was there...

It has a great common room which makes it easy to meet travellers. The bed next to the windows is not the best as it’s hard to sleep with all the light and traffic. Try and get a different bunk bed if possible.

In the girl dormitory, there was no sink available in the the toilet which made it sometimes not really convenient. However one was available in the shower

It was a cute guesthouse, which had good facilities and service. We stayed in a female dorm and had two beds in the back of the room, which was very comfortable. We had our own space and some peace.
The AC was pretty cold sometimes, otherwise it was great.
