Great value for money, especially since most hotels and dormitories were very expensive during the New Year’s Eve period. The shared bathroom was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The dormitory was spacious enough for me to sit and move around the bed comfortably. There is an elevator, which was convenient. The shared pantry was quite small but had everything I needed. Excellent location, right outside the MRT station.

Comfortable and good location.
Female room are on the separate floor which can only be accessed by guest card.
Air conditioning is too cold especially in winter .
WiFi doesn’t work at all at the floor/ room I stayed.
I would stay longer if the WiFi works .

Clean facilities - including bathrooms, common areas and bed/room. Friendly staff. Decent common areas, strong WiFi, Cafe in front of hostel. Close to Dogmen MRT access.
Staff hours are limited, not staffed 24/hours. Rooms on the top floor closer to the terrace is suspectible to noise - people on the terrace were talking close to midnight and kept room occupants awake!

Very friendly staff and accommodating to guests. Very flexible with guests' needs. Very good location as it is only few steps away from MRT entrance/exit. Comfortable and safe hostel to stay in. There's also a coffee shop at the ground floor, a cafe and convenience store adjacent to the property.

Location just beside (DongMen) MRT Station which serves two MRT lines, Walking distance to YongKang street , Surrounding by Cafe and Eateries. Bathroom and toilet 24 hours in very bright and clean condition
Quadruple room ceiling old and looked dirty, need light renovation.
The male staff and coffee roaster attitude quite straight and not too friendly (does not have the taiwanese friendliness)

Drinking water was available. Very clean. Every day they wash the slippers for guests to wear. Lockers (large) that come with key to use in the room. It’s a quieter hostel. Kitchen was clean and modest. One stovetop available with some small pots. Staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and informative! I asked a lot of questions, they were all addressed. The late check-in was streamlined.
I didn’t like when I had to leave! :D

I think that the room was clean as well as toilets and showers. It was nice that they provided hair dryer, and floss. The locker was very big but if you have a tall luggage, it might not fit very well. The location is really great, right next to the MRT station. I think it is very clean for a hostel and good value.
Everything was pretty nice for a hostel. I think that it was good. I prefer to wear my own slippers and wish they allowed slippers in the room but it is more clean this way...so I understand.

The location of the hostel is just around the MRT exit. Super convenient. The neighborhood also has 7-11, Fami Mart, Din Tai Fung. Overall perfect place for traveling.
The restroom is outside without aircon. In summer time, it tends to be a bit stuffy when you do your business there. After 11 am and before 3 pm, they also shut down the aircon in the room, and direct you to the 1F common area where they have aircon. It was a bit inconvenient if you are a heavy sleeper or would like to sleep in until the afternoon.

The location was absolutely fantastic!! I think being located along the red line only a couple steps from the station is absolutely the move. The capsules were also shockingly large and it was very quiet inside the room (16 ppl max). The lady at the front desk when I checked in was very friendly and helpful as well.
The comforter had a bad smell to it at first until I aired it out (kind of bitter/mildewy). The bathroom was also on the moldier side and was open air—pretty sure I got some new mosquito bites while showering. Towels are also not provided but a limited amount are available to rent, which was somewhat baffling to me.

Fantastic location, convenient to Da'an Park and Yongkang Street (yum!). Right next to red line Dongmen Station exit. We had the 4-person room. There were only 2 rooms, both quads, on our floor, so it wasn't crowded. Shared bathrooms were clean. There was a shared balcony was overlooking the main street which was also clean. No shoes allowed in the room and no eating allowed in the room. Good A/C and Wifi.
Not a big deal, but if you check-in after 6pm, you need to email them your ID and you'll get instructions for self-check in. The next morning (we left at 7am), there wasn't someone there to leave stored luggage with, and we didn't want to leave just it in the common rom (we could have). So, we opted to take our luggage with us. There are lockers at Dongmen station.

This place was fantastic! I loved the pod beds that were built well so they didn't move as the other person entered the bunk. When you closed the curtain the pod got dark and I slept well. I would def recommend.
Had a bit of a locker room smell. Not the best place for making friends but people were friendly when I extended a hello to them

Best hostel I’ve stayed in. It’s not a social hub, but everything was clean and spacious for a dorm. It is right next to a metro exit and is surrounded by good food options! Highly recommend if staying in Taipei.
