bathrooms were nice and clean and staff were pleasant
quiet hours should be more enforced, there was loud noises and slamming at 2 am on every night of my stay. I’ve stayed at other hostels in the area and didn’t have the same experience

The hostel is very well organized. The bed was comfortable and private. The hostel staff were kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a double bed which was a lovely surprise.
There is a coffee shop in the same location as the hostel. It’s annoying to have to get around a giant group of people to get in and out of the hostel. Especially with bags. The coffee shop staff were rude, especially the older man. I was not aware that the coffee shop and hostel were completely separate (because they share the same behind the counter space!). I made the mistake of asking where to leave my key when checking out early in the morning. They dismissed me and tried to get me to buy coffee. Made me uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Strategic location, clean, comfortable, I think solid value for money. If I am staying in Taipei, I would stay in Dongmen 3 again.
Maybe the room could have been ventilated a bit better, there was a bit acidic smell sometimes, but it’s a dorm room so no hard feelings.

Location is great! Right next to the subway station. Super convenient to go anywhere. Tons of cafes, pastry stores and restaurants. The staff were helpful and courteous!
It’s a hostel so you’ll be sharing a dormitory with other people and noise is inevitable. Some people snore. Some people feel like being noisy at 3am. The pods are comfortable and have the necessary space to organize your stuff. You can store your luggage underneath the beds. It has a lock already so you won’t need one. The hostel will provide the key for that. It fits small and large suitcases.

Comfortable and good location.
Female room are on the separate floor which can only be accessed by guest card.
Air conditioning is too cold especially in winter .
WiFi doesn’t work at all at the floor/ room I stayed.
I would stay longer if the WiFi works .

Great value for money, especially since most hotels and dormitories were very expensive during the New Year’s Eve period. The shared bathroom was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The dormitory was spacious enough for me to sit and move around the bed comfortably. There is an elevator, which was convenient. The shared pantry was quite small but had everything I needed. Excellent location, right outside the MRT station.

Clean facilities - including bathrooms, common areas and bed/room. Friendly staff. Decent common areas, strong WiFi, Cafe in front of hostel. Close to Dogmen MRT access.
Staff hours are limited, not staffed 24/hours. Rooms on the top floor closer to the terrace is suspectible to noise - people on the terrace were talking close to midnight and kept room occupants awake!

Very friendly staff and accommodating to guests. Very flexible with guests' needs. Very good location as it is only few steps away from MRT entrance/exit. Comfortable and safe hostel to stay in. There's also a coffee shop at the ground floor, a cafe and convenience store adjacent to the property.

Location just beside (DongMen) MRT Station which serves two MRT lines, Walking distance to YongKang street , Surrounding by Cafe and Eateries. Bathroom and toilet 24 hours in very bright and clean condition
Quadruple room ceiling old and looked dirty, need light renovation.
The male staff and coffee roaster attitude quite straight and not too friendly (does not have the taiwanese friendliness)

Drinking water was available. Very clean. Every day they wash the slippers for guests to wear. Lockers (large) that come with key to use in the room. It’s a quieter hostel. Kitchen was clean and modest. One stovetop available with some small pots. Staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and informative! I asked a lot of questions, they were all addressed. The late check-in was streamlined.
I didn’t like when I had to leave! :D
