Location, the view from our room, the staff. The bathroom was spacious and clean
The hallway had a moldy smell pretty much the entire time, I think due to recent rain and construction. Some wallpaper was pealing, messy paint jobs in the room.

Cat play area. Friendly staff. Big windows and view of the city.
Vibe: an office space converted into a hotel. Washing machine that was not in the room, was coin-operated, and which was not well-maintained. Cheap laminate flooring.

A very warm and well equipped place, convenient for families. We loved the small room dedicated for their two cats, a wonderful place to relax after a day out - first time I’ve ever seen this at a hotel and such a great idea.
A breakfast option would be a bonus

Staff were lovely. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was great. The air-con was a gosdend as the weather got hotter as was the filtered water dispenser.

Just the entrance area off the street was not too nice but this is not exclusive for the hotel so not their fault I guess.

A very unassuming and cozy property. Nice room decors , spacious , comfortable and clean. Simple yet sufficient. The location is very convenient with plenty restaurants, 7/11 etc near by. The staff molly and her team are very helpful and patient. Definitely recommend!

Stayed here twice (at beginning and end of the holiday). Staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Great decor, lovely bathrooms, spa toilets, super-comfortable beds, water-dispenser in the foyer - and a cat-room :}
Good central location, shortish walk from either of two MRT stations. Nice parks just round the corner, 7/11 next door, plenty of cafes, restaurants and bakeries nearby. Useful having access to coin-operated washing machine/tumble drier.

Chill Roof was such a gem! Walking distance to the heart of Zhongshan and cozy, well maintained vibes. My room was huge and airy with lots of windows and a nice shower and clawfoot tub - other rooms I was looking at in this price range didn’t come close. The staff were super friendly and the cat room (!!), free snacks, Malin + Goetz products, and plenty of umbrellas available when it rained were nice touches. I saw they offered but didn’t get to take advantage of partnership with local studio offering yoga classes etc. Would def stay again!

Nice design of rooms. Very friendly staff. Thoughtful snacks and drinks and facemasks.
The smell was very strong in the hallway and room. It was a strong stuffy musty smell. Reception area and room needs more air circulation and to find the reason of the smell. This caused the group to cancel and move to a different hotel unfortunately.

Cats, a spacious room, easy check-in/out, all the service is pretty good.
Sometimes you can hear noises from the bathroom. Looks like a building issue with the water supply, not sure whether the hotel can do anything about that.
Unfortunately we were not prepared so we left the bathroom door open overnight and got woken by the noise in the middle of the night.
