The staff was friendly and the room was good. Breakfast was also good with a good environment.
The light switches were strange and sometimes didn’t work. There was also no good light near the mirror in the bathroom. This made shaving a little bit difficult.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was included with our rate and was nice - not great but pretty good. The staff was friendly and allowed us a later checkout.
The WiFi was inconsistent and had to be reset multiple times during our stay. Staff was helpful and always resolved the issue. The bed was also quite short. As a 6ft tall person, my feet hung off the end.

Wonderful
Funky hotel (in a good way) in a really nice location. Easy walk from a subway stop so we just rolled our bags -- no taxi! -- to the hotel. Breakfast was great. I thought the price was really attractive.
Rooms were on the smaller size but still "big enough". Really couldn't find a place to unpack our suitcases so one of them remained opened, on the floor.

There’s a problem with the relationship with the downstairs bar the weekend because it’s a very popular bar and it’s ownership is different but as the only functioning bar in the hotel, it should give the hotel guests some guarantee that they can get a table, but it’s always fully booked to outsiders. It’s very strange that a hotel bar cannot cater to its own hotel guests

Feels new and clean. Well maintained. Service was great with friendly and helpful staff.
The location is on a quiet street off the main road and it’s about a 10 mins walk to the train station. While the room is comfortable the mattress can be better.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Always greeted us before leaving and when we return. Also upgraded one of our rooms as we wanted to be on the same floor which we appreciated. Honestly they made our stay better. Very comfy rooms, though some of the furniture could be updated (wear and tear). The location was in quiet neighbourhood, about 10mins walk to the metro. Will def stay here again if I visit Taipei.
One of the staff who works at the breakfast area was unfriendly which we find surprising considering all the staff was so friendly. Never greeted back when we say hi or thank you (which we did on separate occasions). But we did notice they were friendlier with Caucasians. The other staff member at the breakfast station was great though.

Overall decent 3 star hotel though a bit expensive for the quality. Room size ok for 1 pax with one luggage. Room not entirely soundproof & rooms are built close to each other and hence can get a bit noisy at times. Location is good - 5 mins walk from daan station exit 1/2 & to main tourist attractions. Food options plenty and if you like a walk, yongkang street is 30 mins nice walk in good weather. Simple breakfast options. Staff are decently helpful if you ask for help.

This is my second stay in 2 months and i like the location, the friendly staff and the decoration of the room.
The curtain blind can be improved as it does not manage to keep the sunlight out in the morning.

It was the staff undoubtedly who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms are new and spotless - loved the gizmos in the bathroom and the Nespresso machines and night tea in the room. The location in Da’an was good. Breakfast was decent and met our needs. Overall, happy to return here.
1) Wish they would give us a choice of reusing towels - they were changed daily and need not be. 2) Wish they provide body lotion as well! Neither are deal breakers, of course.

Perfect place if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay close to the MRT and city. Very clean, modern and comfortable. A brilliant stay overall! Will be top of the list for the next time we visit Taipei.

- good locality (MRT stations very close) - super helpful and kind personal - nice comfortable rooms, good beds, bathroom well equipped and good AC in the room - not too cold, not too warm
- wifi bit slower - from some directions, there are no sidewalks to get to the hotel, so its needed to go on road (but with low traffic)
