The room was perfect for a couple. Very clean and modern. We were able to request firmer pillows which was a lovely additional touch that made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were so lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast that was varied enough to be enjoyed for a week. Loved our stay!
No facilities in the hotel, no gym. But that wasn't top on our list of priorities.

Convenient location that is 300m away from the MRT station. It is fairly discreet and private.
The bed was too soft for my liking. Moreover, I woke up to a low rumbling that had persisted through most of the night. Not sure if it was the water boiler.

I have to give a special commendation to the staff - they are so attentive and really went out of their way to preempt my every need. The room is super roomy for the price and the stay felt extremely luxurious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Taipei!

Chez Nous is perfectly situated in Da An, which is a lovely area of Taipei with many good restaurants and cafes. The central location made it easy to travel to the attractions such as Taipei 101, Ximending, Da An forest park, night markets etc. The rooms are quiet, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Bedding is of high quality and wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast menu changes daily and is clearly well thought out as the dishes are not only tasty but also nutritionally balanced. Theres also a coffee and tea corner with take away cups available for grab and go drinks before heading out for the day. And above all, the team at Chez Nous are warm, kind and helpful with personalised recommendations to make our trip a truly memorable one. I would love to stay at Chez Nous again!

If you are reading this review, go ahead and book this hotel with confidence! We loved the hotel staff the most. They were extremely polite, helpful, and all easy to talk to. By the end of our trip, we felt like we were talking to family. Always greeted with a smile, and the main door was always opened for us if there was a person at the front desk that noticed you approaching. The staff paid close attention to the weather and offered us umbrellas when we went out if it was expected to rain. The rooms were all filled with wonderful high-end amenities such as a Nespresso machine, hot water boiler, air purifier, safe, minifridge, toto bidet, infant bathtub and shampoo (we requested this beforehand). The rooms were clean and the dcor was tasteful/modern and made us feel at home. Our first room had a wonderful view of a school track and field and our second room had a beautiful city view of the brown MRT line. We traveled with two young children so it was a relief to have so many wonderful breakfast choices (both western and eastern cuisines were available). The dining area featured an open kitchen and often times you could even request a freshly cooked fried egg. You can always expect fresh toast, rice porridge, bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, a wide selection of beverages as a default. On top of these standard options, there was probably around 4 other dishes that were rotated daily. A coffee machine and water tap was conveniently placed near the entrance of the hotel for hotel patrons to easily access at any time of the day. They also offered many different snack options as a nice treat throughout the day.
Basically nothing. Some of the hard wood flooring and bathroom hardware had some normal wear and tear which are to be expected over time. The 2nd floor bathroom had two doorways, one of which didn't close completely flush, but its a very minor issue.

We loved a lot: the rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is great, but most of all the staff is just super nice and very friendly. Everyone treated us as if we were their favorite guests. Even when we had an issue with our room, they spontaneously offered us an upgrade to a different room. It was wonderful to come back to the hotel at the end of each day!
Practically nothing! If you like hard mattresses, look no further.
