Very afforable and close to a train station. Easy choice if one is looking for just a place to sleep.
For its price, I wouldn't complain but room is on the small side, air conditioning placement was a bit odd the for the room set up. Towels provided were a little old and worn out.

Room 3E the most noisy room I ever stayed in. Toilet flush can startle and awaken anyone in the room. Next to the laundry room, people were washing clothes at midnight that can be heard. Room facing the busy street can hear cars sped through all hours.

I have stayed here before and came back here because of its proximity to the subway. The location is great, right by Xing Tian Gong station exit 3, with the other exits nearby. Its literally about a 1 minute walk to the station which was good for my friend who had an injured knee. There are many coffee shops like Mr. Brown, Starbucks and other local ones, as well as restaurants, a traditional market, pharmacies and Carrefour. The staff were welcoming and go out of their way to help you, they even let us store some luggage there while we took a trip outside of Taipei, and they put it in a secure place. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean.
It would be great if they could add some hand soap by the sink. It doesn't matter if it's liquid or bar, I just need soap. I ended up putting the shampoo bottle there when I didn't need it in the shower. Also, my friend could have used some more storage for clothes.

This is a basic hotel, nothing fancy or high end but clean, reasonably comfortable and safe. It is accessible to the train station, comfortable bed, and room layout. Access to internet. Busy streets with lots of locals, many places to eat, nearby supermarket, pharmacy, Starbucks and clothing stores.
I wish I would have had a comfortable chair/desk in my room. The wooden stool and narrow desk/table were not comfortable. After a few hours of working on them my back hurt.

Less than a minute walk to metro station.

Staff are nice.
Soundproofing could be better.
Double bed is joined by 2 single beds.

The location is excellent (next to MRT, shops and restaurants) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but well laid out and very functional.
The hallway and entrance were not environmentally controlled.

There's not a lot to do in the area but is the closest place to the MRT
The walls are thin and you can hear everything that happens in the rooms next door.

Friendly staff who helped us with check-in and luggage storage, good lighting in room, good wifi, right next to Xingtian Temple MRT station, decent for what it's worth
No hand soap at the sink, some black mold in the shower, carpet had stains and didn't feel clean, bed was two twin beds pushed together so there was a bump in the middle

Great location and friendly staff.
The carpeted area around the bed was stained and did not feel clean on bare feet. Luckily the hotel did provide slippers.
The room’s soundproofing is not the best. For two nights we had stayed quite close to some rowdy guests, and it was quite hard to have a decent sleep at night. Otherwise the stay was quite pleasant.
