Booked this as our preferred hotel cancelled our bookings. It's ok, prices of hotels in Taipei is generally very expensive compared to other Asian cities.
No built in heater, we travelled when it had cold days. But the hotel gave us small portable heater to warm up the space.

The staff was excellent. They know English and are super helpful. There are lots of local mom/pop food places nearby. The closest MRT station is about 15 mins. walking distance. The room is spacious and likes having a couch very much. It looks like the bathrooms are newly remodeled.
The carpet is quite old and looks dirty. The pillows are very flat. The charger by the bed go to sleep mode at night and won’t charge. The neighborhood seems to be on the older part of ZhongShan.
