The design of the building and rooms was really cool -- great industrial feel. Air-conditioning was a very welcome because it was hot when we visited. There weren't many other people there when we stayed so it was quiet. Had everything we needed. It is located on a residential street but Tainan is a very small city, so getting to any tourist sites is a short taxi or Uber ride away. No street noise
There is not an attendant stationed at the front desk typically, as would be present in a large hotel. This appears to be a family-owned small business. When we arrived, there was no doorbell and we weren't sure how to get enter. There was a sign on the front door stating you could call a phone number, but we struggled to call this phone number because we had foreign cell phones. After a few minutes of panic when there seemed to be no way of getting in, somebody came to the front and let us in and gave us a fob key that we used to enter. We never saw any hotel workers around after that. FYI, no elevator in case you have heavy luggage

Exceptional
Very good staff and good service We could earlier in the room as check in. I was very tired from our arrival. That was very nice.
