Close to the station, very nice family, nice dog, clean, has a small cafe that serves noodles for breakfast, the owners husband walked to the station with me & helped with my bag & made sure I went to the right platform for my train. I would absolutely recommend.

Well located; near the railway station. Good neighbourhood; lots to do nearby. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Quirky decor.
Check-in instructions arrived quite late. Curtains in bedroom let all the light through.

Location is great since it's about 5 minutes walk from the station. A lot of great food and restaurants nearby, maybe 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. The b&b also has its own cafe downstairs.
The staff were efficient with the check in process and spoke great English. The room they prepared for me was clean and comfy. Each room has their own AC which is a necessity since Tainan is extremely hot.
If I had to list the cons, it would be that at night you can hear the motorcycles or scooters driving down the street, but usually gone by midnight. Another thing was the mosquitoes. They provided the mosquito trap in each of the room and it was pretty effective.
I would come back here again if I'm travelling to Tainan again.

Property was clean and quirky. Aircon worked well.
No tea/coffee making facilities. Cold water was available but the hot water dispenser didn’t work. A fair bit of street noise, but that mostly quietened after 10pm. We were in a back room and the balcony was pretty much unusable. The shower head pointed horizontally out from the wall, with no adjustment, at about 6ft high. Had to hold the shower in your hand to wash yourself off. We saw no staff or guests at the property during our stay. Communication was only via message. Access codes were only provided after we had messaged to say we were standing at the front door. It looked like the front room was once a coffee shop or restaurant but it wasn’t open whilst we were there.

A great local feel, friendly staff. We got a great last minute deal on a family suite with a balcony (which was good to get outside and to dry a few things), and the room was spacious. They also had a hot pot and ice cream place downstairs but it wasn’t open when we were there.
My kids enjoyed the reading books and nooks, and the location walkable to shopping and touring around plus the train station is hard to beat!

Design is warm and feels like home, shower is great, host is really nice and helpfull. Downstears is a little restaurant with the best hot pot I've ever tried. Although we were only one night there, it was very warm and comfortable stay.
air conditioning remote was broken, there was either very cold or hot option, but the host was very kind to give us a fan for the night.

Decor of the room, as well as the whole building was very thoughtful, intentional and cute.
The host was also very nice and kind, and tried their best to communicate with us despite the limited English.
Not too centrally close to attractions but quite close to the TRA Tainan station

The house is close to everything, train station, shopping with a nice food court. Our room is spacious and is designed lovely. Clean and safe and located in a quiet street. The WiFi is stable and excellent. The owner is very nice and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

My room was quite large and had fun, funky furnishings. The property was very close to the train station.
I wish the owner had been made it clear beforehand that there might not be any staff at the hotel upon my arrival, though this was between six and seven in the evening, not an unusual time for a guest to arrive at a lodging. Arriving at the front door, I found I had to call him and get him to walk me through how to enter the building and so on.
