Location is great, breakfast isn't much, but good enough.
The staffs were provided good and warm service.
The interior decoration has been newly updated with modern furniture and design.
The building exterior and sign still look very ageing.

Very Good
Really friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Central location a short taxi ride from the train station with lots of restaurants nearby. We didn’t think it was good value for money as there’s plenty of other similar hotel rooms in the city that are half the price so instead of extending our stay we moved hotels.

Great location to Chikan tower and bar nearby. Staffs are really friendly and the room is remodeled. Though did not try their breakfast, they did look good to taste.
Parking lot is small, might be difficult for SUV to park.

Very Good
Location - I picked it due to its location near eateries, convenience stores, and tourist spots. It's a 10-minute walk to Chihkan Tower / Mazu Temple / Shennong Street / Hayashi Department Store. It's a 15-minute walk to Snail Alley / Tainan Long Story / Tainan Confucious Temple. There are some very interesting alleys nearby to explore and we found some interesting shops like Pari Pari and eateries.
Rooms - Rooms were comfortable. There were 3 of us and we booked the triple room. The size was just right. The bathroom was spacious. Although from the outside the hotel may look old, the rooms were done up well.
Car Park - The hotel has a dedicated car park which is opposite it. It was very convenient. When we came back from our walks or came back late at night, it felt very safe to walk back to the hotel.
Staff - The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The receptionist helped us call Kings Garden in Guanzhiling to make sure it was still open by the time we arrived, the manager recommended places to visit, when it rained, they were very concerned for us and made sure we had umbrellas or could park the car to drop off and pick up our bags. The breakfast staff were very helpful and pointed out which food was vegetarian and which was not.
Breakfast - accommodation came with complimentary breakfast - a mix of local and Western food.
Extension - When we decided to stay another night in Tainan, they were able to accommodate our extension in the same room.
