What an incredible home stay. Stayed in room 401 - one room per floor. Unbeatable, central location; incredibly kind and helpful owner; immaculately clean; awesome bed - and an AC that did the trick on sticky nights!
There was nothing that I did not like - well an elevator would be nice, but then you would lose the quintessential charm of this delightful place

Very convenient location, very clean room. The host is super nice and helpful. The house is located in a busy street but it’s quiet at night. Most importantly I feel safe staying in this place. The host worths all the good comments. Will stay again for my next visit.

Clean, spacious, bright and fresh, this delightful room was well placed for exploring Tainan. At the top of an Old Street but tucked round a corner it was quiet. There were plenty of places to eat from local to tourist including Qoin bar for an upmarket drink set in local side street. The owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful not letting our language barrier stop her from helping us with advice and suggestions. Our room was up steep narrow stairs but the host insisted on taking our luggage up. We are reasonably fit older people so found these not a problem.

The host was very hospitable and clearly had passion for her city. The best things we did in Tainan were those which she recommended. We stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed for a week- we hope to make a return visit and stay here again.

- Everything was exceptionally clean, suitable for clean freaks
- The boss was very kind and talkative. We got a lot of streetfood recommendations!
- The room is big and comfortable
- Free snacks, water, coffee and tea
- Location is perfect because it’s directly in the old city. Very suitable if you don’t have your own vehicle and want to walk around in the old city. The Anping area and the train station can be reached in around 10 minutes by taxi
The building doesn’t have elevator and there are some steps inside the room so you have to be careful
