The host was exceptionally kind and the location was very good walking distance from the bus station. We only stay at for one night so didn't get too enjoy everything there was around and there is a lot of around this hostel. Would definitely stay again.

The host was very helpful - when we got to the property he gave us a google map link to everything we could possibly need to see/do in the city. We knew all the food spots and all the things to see which was great. Our room was very comfortable , and felt like we were back at home in the UK, all the facilities you could need , great shower.

The property is well located and the owner is very nice.
The room’s cleanliness was fair.
It felt welcoming. I would have given a better rating if it wasn’t for the leak.
There was a leak from the ceiling, dripping on the floor next to the bed, when I told the owner he told me that it has been there for a couple of weeks and it will be fixed later. It was dripping next to my face when laying in the bed.
We were not offered another room not where we given any type of discount for putting up with the leak…
The bathroom was quite dirty.

Allen is a very cheerful and helpful host! He gave us many recommendations for places to eat and greeted us with some cold drinks as he knew that we came by bicycle and it was a very hot day - it's the small things!
We stayed 3 nights in the guesthouse and really enjoyed our time there. Since it was very hot we spent much time inside during the day. The common area has everything one can wish for - games, TV, coffee... :) it's a 100 percent recommendation!

Allen is super welcoming and has a great list of places to see & eat around Tainan.
Nice place with a nice living room and 2 bathrooms.
We were able to fit our 2 bicycles near the stairs for security at night.
Beds are very soft, woke up with bad back.
A hanger would be nice to dry clothes as there is not outside space.

Excellent hostel - comfy beds, very good location (famous cookies are so close) and the best host - with the best list of colour coded recommendations EVER!
Only one small improvement - hand size towels provided but it would be better if normal/ full size ones were provided. This is only a small detail - hostel is still 10/10 great
