This property puts you in an excellent location to visit the historic alleyways and other points of interests of old Tainan such as the Dutch castle, oyster kiln museum, the tree house and restaurants on Anping Street, all within 15-min walking distance. The local wet market is right across the street in front that offers fresh fruit, dried seafood goods that can be brought back to US, and best of all local eateries that are open from about 7 am until noon. The staff were all friendly and would answer questions with great consideration and even print out bus schedule for self-catered visitors to see the salt fields. We plan to stay here for our future visits.
The grout in bathroom along the floor perimeter looked moldy, I would suggest for the property to do a thorough cleaning. We stayed in room 502.
The glass shower stall was tiny, probably would not work for someone who is on the large side.

No bum gun in the toilet. The staff are not there at night, but at long as you check in at a normal time it's no problem.

Staff was so friendly and helpful with giving directions to local attractions and eats. The room was very comfortable and they kept our bag in their lobby and use the toilet after check out
It would have been nice to have some form of hand soap even though single use soap bars are no longer allowed in Taiwan - maybe a refillable dispenser placed on the sink. We used the shower gel provided in the shower as handwashing soap.

Most of the furnitures in the room look new. The room is clean. Location is pretty good, it's about 5 minutes walk to the Anping Old Street.
No breakfast included. There is no service after 8pm.

Spacious room; good natural and artificial light; good visual aesthetics (Interior design).
Several things were not advertised: - - - toilet paper must be discarded in the waist basket (cannot be discarded in the toilet.)
- no staff after 9 PM.

room was spacious and clean. location was ok right in front of traditional market.
1. aircon very noisy and remote controller doesn't have much function.
2. It was a big room but shower booth is tiny. my husband barely fit.
3. Parking is 10 min walk away and it is public parking area. we were lucky to find one spot.
4. booking.com says no need to pay upfront but right after i booked the hotel sent me text message to wire 50% of deposit. otherwise the booking will be cancelled. so I had to transfer 50% of room fee to the hotel.
5. you can check in only from 3pm-5.30pm. the hotel called and texted me a few times about it. so we had to make sure we arrive the hotel during their check in time. It was quite stressful as we were driving from other city.
6. they don't speak English which is quite hard for a foreigner to deal with.

Taxi find it not so accessible coz of the small lane b4 It took us a while b4 checking in .Later was alright, location is near to Anping Historical places by foot
