Exceptional
Really friendly host who does not speak English but is very good with Google translate. She offered all kinds of great tips about places to go and gave me a lovely cake in the morning and there's coffee and water and she's just very sweet, sent me off with oranges. The bed is like a capsule type of thing there's not much more in there than a bed but it was fine a little hard but that's taiwan. The shared bathroom was very clean and quite nice.
She also offered the use of a bicycle which would have been nice I should have taken it.
For a resort area the price was good.
For me the location was a little tough because there's a bus about a 10-minute walk away to Sun Moon lake, but it runs only every half hour or so, so if you come here without your own transportation it's a little tricky. That said, she did offer me a bicycle.

The receptionist is very nice. We arrived at hotel, the time was late. She was very friendly to introduce the room, local tourist spots, and local breakfasts for us. The hotel position is very convenient that is near the a lot of tourist spots. The price also very nice.

Very Good
The place was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. A little farther away from the lake but the price compensated. The real icing on the cake was the owners. They were super nice, friendly and helpful. Converted our experience from satisfactory to fabulous!!

Wonderful
The facilities were as expected, everything was nice and tidy, but the real gem was the owners. They are charming people with whom you can both chat and ask for directions/places to go etc. A perfect place to visit!
