Friendly and accomodating host with good communication. Additional paid set menu dinner and complimentary breakfast was fresh and plenty of variety. The natural wooden smell of the room was a pleasant bonus

Beautiful and charming accommodation, very high standard in traditional Japanese design. feels a bit like in the shogun tv series.
we had a car breakdown and the staff was super helpful in order to find a solution, I can absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody!

This place was a little gem for our family. We loved the remote location, making us feel alone & special and nearly part of the family. One sister is in charge of the hotel, with her husband leading the design of this manucures and authentic place. Another sister is in charge of the lovely Taiwanese restaurant & the breakfast and the last one of the coffee place.
I would mention 2 things
- These 5 Japanese rooms surrounded by greenery are a blessing after cycling around the highly touristy sun moon lake where the norm are high sky rise hotels
- the caring attention of the staff/family to ensure we feel at home.

Very lovely design of the guesthouses. It’s located further from the town centre, which is about a 10min car ride away. However, the location means that it’s generally very peaceful and relaxing within the property. The food offered at the restaurant and on site are all highly recommended too. We had the best time staying there, also thanks to the warm hospitality from the staff and their many lovely pets on site.

The home we stay in was beautiful! It was beyond what we expected! Will definitely recommend this stay!
If I really have to say something it would be the location. If there is pickup service from the pier it will be great! :)

A wonderful stay in picturesque settings close-by to sunmoon lake but hidden in the hills. A great place to spend a weekend away! Beautiful bath with view over the hills. Comfortable beds. Lovely hosts!
